    CM: “We’re looking forward to it (cup semi). It’s an unusual situation but it’s been resolved now.”

    CM: “Aberdeen always come and make it difficult. It will be a battle

    CM: “Ultimately the creative side of the game lies with the forward players. You saw the other night it’s beginning to click again with the number of chances.”

    CM: “The goals and the finishing will come. It’s important to take that into the weekend.

    Since Brendan arrived, McGregor has been outstanding for the most part.

    Vital part of the squad now, and who would have said this a few years ago?

    Getting the credit he deserves now.

    Much more effective deeper, showcases his passing accuracy, decision making and his late runs into the box are so dangerous..

    I’ve always thought he’s at his best when he’s facing the goal, not with his back to it. Perfectly suited him today.

    The most technically proficient footballer produced in Scotland for a long, long time.
    5 caps by 25.

    * mental.

    Definitely should be playing alongside Brown after the break, Ntcham's just not at it right now. And even when he is, it's often been said that we are less dynamic with the Brown - Ntcham partnership.

    Think we’ll covert him to a Brown replacement when the time comes.

    I like him breaking from deeper as well..

    He's done more than a job at inside left and the 10 at time's where I don't like him particularly, but running from deep and in to space, he's so much better..

    Been off the boil further forward this season in my opinion but today was almost first season Brendan syndrome for a few, and McGregor at the heart of it..

    Also flew right in to a 40/60 second half when the defender was going down studs in to the challenge and didn't shirk it despite no being favourite..

    See as long as he can get turned and play off of people I’m happy anywhere he plays tbh. He finds space, is tidy on the ball and takes up brilliant positions.

    If he can have the game infront of him, he prospers.
