The signings we've made since he joined have on the most part been absolute *. Wether he has the final say on transfers I don't know, I would assume he has tho.

Of course he has. People are making excuses for him and it's not doing us any favours.
Also if he is relying on the useless * Congerton to find him targets no wonder they have been dung. Only decent signings we have made recently have been ones decided/scouted before these two arrived.
    Ntcham and Dembele.
He blamed everyone and their dog at Liverpool yet there has been many people refute his claims from board level down - with the exception of Balotelli he approved and targeted all those signings.

He's ruining his legacy with frightening pace. He needs to fix this mess. I still believe he can but time is ticking.

Neil Lennon and Gordon Strachan knew how to stop the other team playing better than Rodgers does. In Europe where we will face teams far better than us, that is a important factor. Although I still think Rodgers has been let down by the board in the summer transfer window, they made offers for several players that would have improved our team but they * around and couldnt get the deals done. There are players in our team who are simply not good enough to compete with quality European teams but they are the best we've got, theres not much Rodgers can do about that.

Seems to be a lot of European teams we would have considered below our standard 10 years ago that have their house in order and prepared for Europe. Teams with managers who know how to assemble a squad for less money and get a good standard return of results and displays. Obviously they have good structures and youth systems set up that are superior to us. What Tommy Burns set in place has seemingly dismantled or left to the side because the system has been changed by the incoming managers and their back room staff. I would bring Gordon Strachan in to get the Lennoxtown project back and running the way it was intended. Gordon is redundant and has time on his hands and he knew how to put a team together on a budget. I’m not talking about WGS as manager but more to set a structure that is adhered to. One that will provide a constant stream of players to join a squad of a basis of experience and that is where wages will be spent. * I don’t know. My brain doesn’t have an answer to a conundrum nobody wants to approach.

Sorry Grace but I agree with Minty...

I don't think there's a single point that could be made to back up your claim.

Ruining was probably the wrong word. Tainting his legacy is more what I mean. If he left tomorrow rightly or wrongly the focus would be on our * start to his 3rd season and the hammerings we took in Europe. Based on our CL and EL results (So far) I doubt he would walk into a "big job". Personally I'd give him a statue for everything he's done for us but looking beyond the support's opinion, his reputation has took a beasting the last few weeks.

Rodgers doesn’t have a patch on them in terms of European competition. His signings, for the most part, have been awful. The football has been rank for pretty much a year now.

Yes his domestic record, in terms of trophies, is phenomenal. But we’ve been in decline since the end of his first season. At quite a drastic rate.

It will take him leaving before folk truly realise what he’s done for the club I think.

His first season here is a feat that will probably never be repeated in my lifetime.

If he gets us to top of the league by January, and we at least win our home games in the EL then it's all good, but even then I'd want to see major movements in and out of the squad in that window.

If those things don't happen then for me, he's on thin ice...

Longest run i could find for us was from 1887 to 1892 11 matches unbeaten against the huns so i think Brendan holds the record.
