Lustig does not deserve a higher contract than what he is on just now he is not performing to standards he once did I'd rather he was just let go

I know he aint leaving at the end of the season because he signed a contract extension, he is one of the higher earners is he not, is it 3 or 2 years hes got left, i think he could go another 4.

Mate I dont think anyone would disagree with you BUT if BR tells Pete he desperately wants to keep him .. and at the end of the day it's BR who is continually picking him over Gamboa ... (who wont be on a pittance either)

Forrest will all be on 10+thousand a week i would assume i dont know how wage budgets work tbh but im sure the more extension you get the more your wage rises, and edouard we signed for 8 million his agent would have pushed for a wage that would match that price tag.

No matter what, we can't afford missing out on CL just because somecunt isn't happy with the wage budget.

Surely the CL funds would mean finances remain healthy.

As much as im not entirely happy with BRs tactics atm i have to admit the onslaught from the media hes recieving is * incredible. Hes either "unhappy" or hes lost the dressing room... as far as these wanks are concerned.

When it transpired that slippy g had led sevco to a worse start in some odd years the media largely ignored it and ex rangers pundits deflected it all together wanking themselves into a frenzy over sweet * all including poxy interviews and soundbites from a walloper who * his first major test ie. US.

We hit a similar bad milestone.... ex celtic pundits...

Commons, sutton, walker, strachan, nicholas et al ... all of them either putting the boot in or spreading * about him looking for the exit.

BR needs to stop playing the nice guy and lead by example, show his own players we dont take * from no *.

The last time that * walking mid life crisis Nicolas ran his mouth Lenny closed it for him. Publically called him out for knowing * all and talking *. Hes at it again now.

Time for BR and the players to nip this * in the bud.

There's plenty out of contract next season so I can see the wage bill coming down as very few will get new deals, Boyata will be away and Lustig should be told he's not getting one either.

I agree, Rodgers should of got a good few players off it who are just hanging about picking a wage. Allan, Compper, De Vries to start with.

Personally I hold us to higher standards than that mob, they’re good is our * and rightly so. Happyclapping in the media is how you end up in the situation they’re in.

I don’t want people like Chris Sutton doing a Derek Johnstone impersonation except for us.

If only it was as easy mate the problem is will they go. If you were any of these players, knowing you likely ain't going to pick up the same level of wages at the next club would you leave. Compper and DeVries especially won't be in a hurry age wise and Allan ain't gonna match his wages anywhere in Scotland.

No, your right. And he would be correct to point to his achievements. History books don’t lie. Does anyone old enough to remember if Jock had a bad half season or first 7/8 games during the run to 9 in a row. The law of averages would have me say I’m sure there was dissatisfaction somewhere. Especially how we were going about our business from 66 onwards. Losing the European Cup Final against the Dutch was a s big a shock as us beating Inter. We were one of the top 5 sides in Europe over that period. So I would assume Jock took some stick over that. But we look back in books and video as Jock Stein ruling over a swashbuckling sweep before them team of super heroes. Just saying that may not have been the case all the time. Football fans are fickle and so is football.
