You can see that he’s trying to fix it, it just isn’t completely coming across but if Griffiths and McGregor score from one on one situations there everybody is much happier.

The players need to perform on the pitch, need to stop being so fragile.

Don't know what he said at half time but we were much better afterwards, upped the tempo and created loads of chances.

 

Need more of that second half mentality. Play every game like a cup game.

 

Seemed to give his old tactics one last go in the first half and then changed to playing more direct in the 2nd half.

Hopefully we will see this style implemented a lot more from now on and a lot less of this pass the ball over and back and back over again across the middle of the park

 

Whatever he said at half time worked, much improved and much more enjoyable to watch again second half.

 

I know griff scored and saved our bacon tonight but i feel he is positioned too far wide when he has not got the ball at stages he looked further wide than forrest

We're into his THIRD season now, and he has won EVERY single domestic cup game since arriving. That's unbelievable. Gets no credit whatsoever for that in the media because so many can't stand us seeing winning every trophy, but it deserves to be bigged up so much more than it is.

 

Good to see him vary it tonight.. if Griff has buried Edouards cross in the first half their partnership would have gotten off to the perfect start..

Genuinely this win might mean more than just getting through a banana skin to reach a semi final. The reaction of the player's after looked like that as well..

...kidnon. You're right incredible record. A refreshing change from the likes of Strachan and Lennon when we bombed out of cups against pish teams all the time.

 

Yep spot. He's absolutely dominated Scottish football since he's been here. Unbeaten for nearly 70 games with 6 trophies in 2 seasons. Maybe it'll be more appreciated when he leaves.
