Please be fit!!! I can't take anymore of Jack Hendry.

 

Hopefully him not playing at the weekend was only a precaution because of how dreadful Kilmarnock's pitch is. I though he looked superb against Rosenborg last Thursday. Would be a big boost to have him back in the team tomorrow night.

* defending. Let's just put strikers out and no defend then Hendry doesn't need to start meaning we win. He's like a we bad luck charm man.

 

You would think/hope that if Ajer's issue was just he was sick last week that he should be ok for tonight. Good news to hear there is no serious issue with Benkovic and he will be back for Aberdeen. I know it is only a couple of games he has played but he looks like a really quality center back.

 

Think Ajer has had the flu, hopefully he's been training, if not we're stuck with Hendry.

 

I don't think we can blame Hendry in the way we can play Oli for pish performances. Oli is a good player who is starting to look like quite unprofessional and immature.

Hendry is a new player who like everyone on this forum would jump at the chance to play for Celtic and must feel like he's in dreamland.

He's making mistakes because he's not a Celtic level player, not because he doesn't care. That's Brendan's responsibility and we can only hope he gets his Mr Miyagi hands on him and works his wonders. He's done it with players he never knew but he must see something in Hendry and I have faith it's there, we just have to start seeing it pronto because there is no extravagant point lead allowing us to give potential the most opportunity.

One great performance could really change a lot of things in a positive way for him as a Celtic player.

Ooops, Benkovic thread, guy looks potential top class and he's come to a great place to learn. If he is consistently as good as the Rosenborg game we should do alright this season. Kind of player Ajer would love playing with and learn a lot from each other's different but sophisticated styles.

Who thought it would be our attacking players giving us the fear after the summer window.

Lets hope so because I don't see Ajer being fit. His reaction when he had to come off last night suggested he might be a out for a while.

Something strange about this one I think. He 'feels' his achilles just before the Killie game and has subsequently missed the next 2 games? Weird.

 

We'll be lucky to see him by January.

 

That's been the norm under Brendan. Comes out with the player may be struggling for next week then we don't hear about them for about 6 weeks
