    Thats my point.
I guess you agree with me so,he,s taken us as far as he can(it happens)so do we continue as we are and play poor football with the hope we get some results and hope the others drop points.

Or do we get someone new in who can get us back up to the standard/level we should be at ..beating the likes of St mirren.

Look i think the guy has done brilliant for us and it should never be taken for granted but i dont think that makes him untouchable, the second half of last season and the start of this season have been really poor and Rodgers seems unable to change it so what do we do?

I really hope he can turn it around and get us back to where we should be,i would love him to be here for 10 but honestly as i said its been poor for a while now (not just six games as some are saying)and he seems to be unable to fix it and i dont think he will.

No, I don't agree with you in terms of the level of performance. He has quite clearly demonstrated he is able to get more out of a group of players than he currently is and with a bit of investment in January I'm more than confident he will again, better than anybody else within our reach. What I agree with is he has taken this club and group of players as far as he can, we're never challenging in Europe and he has won everything else he possibly can in Scotland but it wouldn't matter who was in charge, we're never challenging in Europe anyway. Our club has reached this seemingly impenetrable glass ceiling and unless we invest some money in the playing staff things will continue along this negative spiral no matter who is manager.

So before the league actually starts heating up you want the man who delivered double trebles to go. You don’t feel he can turn it around but you hope your wrong? FFS say what you mean. You want him to go or you want him to stay. Yes it’s very disrespectful and would like to know who you think we should replace him with? Do you think Lawell will loosen the purse strings or give the next man free reign over the team and signings? To end it all you weren’t called a mad man personally as you’ve made out. I said “it was the ramblings of mad men.” And so it is. It’s * ludicrous to want our manager out. Catch a grip ffs.

To say he’s taken us as far as he can is for me rubbish. He says we’re on a slump and we’ve a right to be concerned. It’s up to him to address that, starting with a win away at St Johnstone and a much needed improved performance.

The only real class we’ve shown was v Sevco at home of late - he needs to find a formula for winning football matches or he’ll be on the scrap heap. He needs his Celtic job to go well if he’s any designs on one day attracting a big player back in the EPL or further asunder. He’d be destined for * wee jobs if he allows his bloated 59 million a year wages squad to stagnate and lose an unloseable league title.

He’s also fully aware of the tangible closeness of becoming a legend in his own lifetime by guiding us to the promised land of 10 in a row.

So much has gone against him of late but he’s also the architect of the current team and needs to get them winning and playing well. Quickly. Fans are not happy with the football, becoming disgruntled with performances and we’re not scoring enough goals.

St. Johnstone should be quite afraid if you look at it in one way...

Definitely your making a general statement into a personal point yourself. You are sounding nuts. Do you want him gone or do you want him here for 10 in a row? Let’s narrow it down and make one choice. Stay or go???

I agree with these parts, you can never take Celtic as far as you can. Rodgers knows if he gets 10 in a row he could have a statue at the club and go down as legend. People say he has done all he can (Ian Wright one of them which the bbc wrongly said played for Celtic, when he wore a hooped shirt playing for a final pay day), well you don't understand Celtic then or understand the importance of 10 in a row.
If he takes Celtic to failure he won't be remembered for winning the double treble, he will be remembered for handing the title to Sevco or Hearts. Other clubs will see the failure first and think hang on this guy threw the title to lower budget clubs. If he thinks otherwise he is a fool.

Comments about how we should be worried aren't helpful tbh..

Needs to sort us out and quickly.. let your team do the talking for you..

Not sure where else to put it but John McGlynn one of our scouts has left to take over Raith Rovers as manager. Hope he wasn’t one of the good scouts.

Scottish scout moves to manage a Scottish team.
I'm hoping he was the one pushing all the dross Scottish talent on us the past couple windows.
I hold no hope for congerton doing much better though.

For the record, I want Brendan here to guide us to 10 in a row. I want that season to be Browns last as official club captain and be the moment he hangs up his boots and passes the reigns to Tierney full time.
I want to see that happen and the feel good factor back at Celtic.
But the question, unfortunately for Brendan, is being asked right now if he will be able to stop this slump and get this season back on track.
Not many (if any)will feel we can get a better manager in, certainly not as highly rated and a standing in world football, but perhaps if he can't get out of this slump, a fresh approach will.
    That's football.
To not ask these questions is every bit as dumb as the folk suggesting some are being disrespectful. Blind faith is a bad bad thing.

He needs to turn this around and quickly.

That said... To lighten the mood....

We have a better win rate over the Huns this season so far and feel we are doing shocking (56%). The Huns only have 50% and think they are world beaters. Perspective. But our existence should never be just to get one over the zombies.

im so proud to be a Celtic fan. BR has given us 2 incredible years. Fringe players need to step up big time now and anyone sulking will get their transfer away when the time comes but in the meantime show a bit of class and pride and perform properly for the people contributing to your wages

Suggestions he should go are ludicrous

Genuinely didn’t realise people have actually been saying that

Home match. I’d have fancied them to drop points away from home.

If you read through the posts you’ll see that I have stated the board, management and team are all culpable for the * performances. They are not free of criticism because that would be a silly statement. What I did think was disrespectful was people who thought the gaffer should go in one form or another. Couldn’t do this or that. Wasn’t capable of turning things round. All his * signings. Now that is disrespectful to the guy who has come in and won 6 trophies out of 6 domestically and broke records along the way. Aye get him to *. I’m sure Kenny Miller could do a job or hey maybe Gerrard would leave the huns and come. Funny how I didn’t mention any names but the people taking offence are the ones that wanted Rodgers out. Now though they want him here for ten. I’ll retract the disrespectful comment and just call it easy swayed and don’t know what you want.

He’s more than earned the right to be given time to try and turn into around. I’m sure we can all agree on that.

The thing that just doesn’t sit right with me is the comments made after the game on Sunday. Anyone who has watched us this season knows that there is something not right within the club and the team. To say that we should be alarmed is providing your opponents with confidence and I don’t see why any manager would even answer that question with that sort of response. It seems like he’s waving the white flag already.

The way we’ve played has been way, way, way below-par and it doesn’t seem as if Rodgers has issued different tactics to freshen our approach towards teams who are content with sitting in and getting a result against us. This is the first time he’s had to deal with this sort of pressure here and he has to turn it around quick.
