Some of the mass hysteria, across social media in particular, is astonishing.

Granted we are a shadow of the Invincibles, and our form is very poor at present, but we've a 100% record in domestic trophies over the past 2 seasons, and are hardly out of the running in any this season.

Time for a bit of calm, and get behind the manager who is working with a weakened team and squad.

All doesn't seem well at the club right now, but people need to be careful what they wish for.

Brendan is far and away the best manager in the country, by a distance. We should be grateful to have him, and I have every faith that he'll turn things around.

Thing i see most is the stubborness to change shape, invincible season we had a settled 11 with great attacking football...now its retain the ball at all costs if theres a forward pass where we have a slight chance of losing possesion its then a sidewards or backwards pass. We need 2 up top and play direct at times...went from tippy tappy to direct vs partick and we ended up winning as a result.

Early days, I still say McGinn and (more importantly $$$) his agent saw it as a realistic prospect. It still is , look at Fulham this point last season

I’m not sure what he’s doing on the training field

    1) All of our players take too many touches on the ball. It should be 2 touch pass. Our guys take 3/4 touches and slow it down

    2) Our movement is non existent. No triangles, no off the ball runs. Everyone is always static

    3) We don’t press from the front anymore

    4) The fullbacks and centremids pass the ball back or sideways WAY TOO much. Sometimes we should just hit the space but we always retain it and it almost always goes nowhere

We have no speed, energy or desire in our play anymore. Things we had in abundance in his first year. Rangers score more goals than us ffs

Thanks Crow. First I’d heard that and I was relieved to hear the disappointment in his voice and reply. “Should the Celtic fans be worried?” BR: “Yes I think they should.” That was the stand out piece in that interview. What is the boss actually trying to tell us? What is his thoughts on the team he has to work with? Because surely his is implying he doesn’t have the right tools to do the job he wants. Like hammering a nail with a spanner. His negative demeanour is obviously making its way through the dressing room and he is being undermined in all directions at the moment.

Firstly Lawell has failed him so many times and the supposed falling out. Dembele sold with no time for a replacement and the negative statements that came from his corner. BR allegedly dressed him down publicly in front of the team before the filth game. And then the big stink from the Boyata incidents. Having his hand forced because he needs a defence and has had no option but play Boyata. I don’t think he has been happy about that because it will undermine his authority and anything he’s built in the dressing room.

We have no time for passengers. For me he pulls Broony aside and gets him to publicly back him. Like Brown done with Lenny when the chips were down. Broony goes to Tierney to get into the younger guys heads and act as his wing man. Brendan Leaves those two guys in the changing room for a few hours to spell a few home truths. We are stuck until January with this squad and they need to show a reaction. Not for the board or the fans but themselves first and foremost. Show everyone it was a blip and that they can rise again. I’m hoping all the criticisms from the CL knockout until now will spur us on and we need to start with a win against St.Johnstone on Wednesday.

As for all the mud slingers and over dramatic reactions to Brendan is to say the least * laughable. I have read that he should be sacked, comparing to Mowbray and the worst football ever. * sake give yourselves a shake. Same people are sitting fearing a total domination by the filth from here on in. Rodgers is here for the mean time. He seems to be in the fans corner as far as transfers and building goes. He is the only person speaking because the communication from the board is zilch. Nada. This man has won us six trophies out of six. Invincible in one and two CL qualifications. To suggest we get rid is ramblings of mad men and disrespectful. I’m sure there is a few lurkers in amongst that. Hope you enjoyed because we will turn it round soon. Certainly criticise the team, manager and board as all are culpable in certain areas. But calling for the Bosses head is just * talk. Hail hail Brendan Rodgers.

we will almost certainly win the league, he is competent enough to sort this out and get season on track

however he's not as good of manager as some think he is and we may have peaked under him.

regardlless don't get this chat about worst start after 6 games, which would be seen as a meaningless arbituary amount of games if talked about in retrospect

not too worried at all at, win next two domestic games and sneak a wee draw at salzburg and suddenly our season looks a whole lot better

Remember November / December 2011 the scum were 15 points clear, Jelavic leaving for Everton announced ..We ( the huns that is!) have already won the League....

That ended well didn't it !

Our wages are 59 million a year

What are we getting for that right now? Not much.

    Over to you Rodgers.

Depends how much they wanted to keep them and how much the fans would have revolted I guess. If Deila or Lennon had delivered back to back trebles and CL qualification would the board have publicly gone against the manager's wishes? I doubt it.

Unless you know an out of work magician, I don't think there's a manager in world football that can take this club any further than Rodgers this past couple of seasons.

I think Dermot might force board to spend in January/Next Summer. Brendan was brought in by him not the board.

How often do teams with a * start actually succeed? It does happen, but usually the team ahead at the start wins. If we are more than 3 points behind top after 10 games I would be worried. 3 of the next 4 are at home so I expect at least 9 points from the next 4 but the club desperately needs an away win. Only won away to Alashkert and Partick this season.
A win is desperately needed tomorrow and again on Saturday. I would happily get thumped in the Europa if it means getting points in the league and winning the league cup.

Maybe it's this loss and slump this early that
Can kick start us again remember the red imps result and the way Brendan lifted the team back then that will happen again
