My point this morning, if this was any other manager - he'd have been told to leave this morning. Mowbray would have been shown the door and Deila as well. He is getting by on his name and previous reputation here, but it is fast dwindling.
Should he fail to win the next two games....well can we really afford to continue that sort of slump?

 

Of course you can and plenty are questioning some of his work recently

 

If Rodgers were to walk or lets say be sacked he's in a no lose situation he can just point to the board anyway who are overall to blame.

weakening the team and not replacing , selling our best player and not delivering targets.

 

Yeah but plenty of folk get raging on here also and start chucking insults out like cowards hiding behind a screen.

We lost two games by one goal. It's hardly a sacking offence.

 

With a win in european football on the thursday.

 

It took 8 months of * and a humiliating defeat to St Mirren to eventually sack Mowbray, deila got a full two failed qualifying campaigns and it took a humiliating defeat to a 1st division hun team, this board aren’t progressive, they are incompetent and slow to react even if we are 6-9 points behind the huns in March (we’ll be ahead by that amount) no one will be sacked

Im sorry but when i play 5s and i make a * up my mate would call me an *, maybe i got a bit animated so i take that back, i appreciate everything rodgers has done, but certain things from his tenure do annoy me.

Christ, have a word with yourself pal. Go on then. Say he was sacked in three weeks time, who do you suggest better qualified to get us out of this slump.

Brendan is the best man for the job. He will get us past this patch.

 

No tbh i didn't!!!!.....and i'm not going looking either......i don't how it was said and responded to but i, myself, have questioned him especially with regards to some of the rhetoric coming out!! I wouldn't lose any sleep over someone calling me a bawbag over a point made on a footie forum!!!

 

Dont worry mate i wont lose sleep, but my kids 11 months old he makes me lose sleep!

Simmer down

No one can deny that the last 8-10 months of football has been nothing short of pish overall. Getting to the point where we have started this season with a win rate of 56.25% for competitive games so far this season. Anyone actually happy with that is kidding themselves. I believe and hope that Rodgers can turn it around, but the second half of last season was already showing the signs of the sort of standard of football we have become used to.
Who could come in after him, I * fear who it will be because certainly we will not get better than Rodgers. But that fear alone shouldn't hide or excuse what is a 56.25% win rate this season. That's not the form of a team winning any sort of silverware, so if he does continue - my point is when do we call it time? How long does he get to turn it around before it is too late.
If he keeps up with these stats, by the time we get to the half way point in the season - around about Aberdeen on Boxing day - then we will need to suddenly spring in to winning EVERY game from there on out and hoping who ever is sitting top suddenly turns *.
I hope and believe he can turn this around, but I'd rather not wait till Christmas to find out it is going to be too late.

 

And for what it is worth (and I'll use this stat to laugh at the huns), the huns are working out at 50% win rate for this season. We are one victory better off in all competitive matches this season than the * huns. That is not good enough.

50% win rate may be cause for celebration and a mock Gerrard revolution, but it's pretty * poor stats and we are just as bad.

 

Nae wonder he's greetin' aw the time when his da is a bawbag..

Sevco were away to Villareal,got a draw and then won 5-1 this week...their excuse? for playing EL football?
