I think it's ignorant to say we've got the best squad... Based on what? We have a strong starting 11 and if it isn't working for them then its dropped points. Because we do not have anyone to come off the bench and change the game. No disrespect to the guys but if we need a change in the midfield we are bringing on Lewis Morgan and Ryan Christie, last year it was Stuart Armstrong and Patrick Roberts to say we've not regressed would be madness

No it doesn't as ILTC has shown it is based on a calculated assessment of the situation rather than an impetuous, childish, knee * reaction to 6 games.

These better players canny beat the likes of st mirren, it counts for nothing if the attitude of the players isn't right, we really need to show more fight and determination, clearly the fear factor is no longer there when teams play us.

So guys like Christie, Hendry, Allan etc are Celtic quality? We need guys to improve our squad not beef it out. Loan deals are the whole point of getting guys up to a good enough standard that they have the confidence to step up

Whether they are 'Celtic quality' or not is irrelevant unless we are playing in a league against Celtic.

    It’s evaporated

As I’ve said expect St.Johnstone to go at it hammer and tong and us to pass it around between Lustig (worse than a man short), Boyata (Wantaway trouble maker / a.k.a best Centre Back we have) and Hendry (Dundee player wearing a Celtic shirt) and conspire to play pathetically.

I don’t think we have a plan B. Rodgers seems incapable of ‘mixing it up’. He’s a purist and wants possession at all costs even if it means we are * boring as * to watch.

They can and will beat the likes of St Mirren. There is 85% of the season left Prof.

    Just can't get enough
Well still win the league? well on the evidence of this season no we won't and to think we have a * given right to win anything is wrong and hun mentality, we are playing * football and the players look like strangers to each other, the slow build up play and tactics we have been playing under Rodgers has been countered it's not new players needed it's a new system,

I do think we have better players than everyone else. I think the other teams would love to have Gordon, Boyata, Benkovic, Tierney, Ajer, Forrest, Brown, Ntcham, McGregor, Rogic, Sinclair, Griffiths and Edouard in their squad. I also think most teams would want Morgan, Christie, Jozo and even many would want Allan. This team should walk the league.

The league wasn't easy last season, only 9 points won it when we should be winning it by at least 15. The current problem is not short term, it is long term, been going on nearly a year. Some will blame the board some will blame Brendan, both are heavily at fault in my view. Brendan should be getting a team that can win 5 out of 6 from that team not 3 out of 6 and only getting 1 goal a game. People say Hearts can't keep up the pace, well even if they drop points like on Saturday, we are dropping more. Others have said they can't win 10 on a trot, when was the last time we did.
People can say Brendan wasn't funded, well under him we brought in Gamboa (who he won't play), Compper (can't play), Hendry (greener than our hoops) and DeVries who is *. He loaned out and sold Sviatchenko who on a bad say was better than Compper and Hendry and am sure that was his doing. Dembele was spotted before Brendan arrived, Roberts was on loan before he arrived. His only real coups are Edouard and Ntcham (which may have been a Man City Lawell dealing). He has done what he did at Liverpool, raise the spirits of a squad that were there but fizzled out very quickly. He's done a lot but he isn't the man to lead us to 10 in a row. He is paid good money to organise that team, if he is bored then he can * off.
I'm not sure Celtic will win the league this year. The players are there, the team is not. It is sad when one of the best players at the moment is Boyata, who a month ago was refusing to play.

I know it's still early doors in the season mate, but the big worry is that other than the game against the huns, we just haven't been able to put in a decent performance, we did OK against Rosenborg and got the win we needed, but we cannot seem to kick on and put a few wins together.

I hope Brendan dosen't persist with guys like Hendry and Sinclair, it's just not acceptable.

Hendry is obvious back up, I assume he is behind Jozo, but has yet to have a good performance. Squad players are needed and I would understand if he was a youth player or a free transfer but he cost £1.5m.

And in the 15% of the season gone by we've failed to win away from home against St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Hearts and struggled past Hamilton at home and failed to take a host of chances against the Huns. I don't get why you're almost ridiculing people for saying that there is a chance we won't win the league this season when that is at least being based on the evidence we have whilst you just say, "yeah we will."

Unless Brendan changes the system and style of play we won't win this league because we're too easy to hold out against. Playing one up top does not * work and I don't understand why we are persisting with it or why a replacement wasn't lined up for Moussa (even a loan like Edouard last season) as it was * inevitable Dembele would be leaving.

If it was any other manager, then waking up this morning I would fully expect the manager to be gone.

As it is, Rodgers is going to be given a bit more time, but it's running out fast.

The performances was dreadful last season, we all assumed/expected that come the summer we would bring in a few new faces to freshen the side up and take us up a level.
    We didn't.
    We haven't.

Someone needs to hold their hands up to the disaster of a transfer window, was it the manager and his scout that deemed what we had was good enough? Or was he simply not backed?

Either which way, the signs that investment was needed has been there for a long time now.
Now, it's hitting us hard and someone needs to wake the * up and do something about it.

Short term, that's Rodgers needing to do something special here.
Long term for me, that's the board needing to either back the manager or get the * out. I say that, as it happens every * manager now.
Strachan, after 3 seasons he lost the league and his team was dire to watch. We were unimaginative and stale.
Lennon got 4 years in and packed it in telling us the board didn't match his ambition and he took us as far as he could.
Deila lasted two years, he came in with a decent attitude and style, but he wasn't backed at all. Cheap option produced cheap results extremely quickly.
Rodgers, it's happening all over again, we thought he was a genius for getting the best out of a bad bunch...that's the sort of man management we need back right now, but it's clear it only takes you so far if you aren't willing to back the manager to continue with their ambition and progression.

Rodgers has had enough time to make his own team. He’s had enough money. He’s bought enough players. Most are not good enough. Eventually he’ll get fired unless he puts a winning team on the park, Double Treble winner or not.
