The thing that annoys me most is that we had a chance to be head and shoulders above everyone but we failed to take it. * about with rookie managers and some signing some dross footballers when we should have been focused on the task ahead the moment the huns went bust and making sure we were untouchable.

I still think we'll win the league this year, don't get me wrong. I'm just * off that we let our huge advantage slip more than we ever should have.

That's a disgusting attitude to have, but more worryingly, I believe it's the case that they aren't up for it week to week..

Brendan said in the invincible season he was setting little target's constantly to keep the player's hungry. This is where he earns that bigger pay packet and should be able to pick an exciting enough, winning side who are up for beating some of the dross we're slipping up and struggling against..

Wait, I think I’ve missed something here. Folk think we genuinely won’t win the League this season? No irony or sarcasm about it? :56:

And they think Hearts or Sevco will, into the bargain??? :52::52::52::52::52:

Can a member of this staff sticky this thread please? This is going to be a * beauty of a read come Christmas never mind next May.

We’ll win the League, how close it will be will depend on how long we continue in this slump which is hopefully not long.

Far too easy to swing week by week, I’ve read this same * at numerous different supposed crashes through 7 League Titles in a row.

If folk are going to attempt to convince me that Gerrard or Levein are capable of stopping us I will laugh at them.

Bad enough listening to shitehawks like Keevins without our own going off on tangents to suit their argument!!

I was at the celtic musical the other night. Wee Bertie Auld was there. The passion this legend has for this team is second to none. Let him loose in the changing room with these players. Let him still it into them what it means to play for this team. If thst doesn't give them a kick in the stones. Then were doomed.

Maybe, just maybe.....If we go out and get ourselves an under 18's untried coach, get the Media to tongue our * and hopefully, the refs can give us most of the decisions for us than against.....we might do something special.

The problem is that even this early in the season we cannot afford to lose anymore games, it's been a shocking start and the longer it goes on Levein and slippy will fancy their chances, we're not playing well enough to laugh off any threat, even Brendan himself says supporters should be alarmed at the poor start we have made.

It’s our worst league start in a couple of decades, that rings alarm bells. Absolutely.

At this point you place your trust in the guy that has proven he can deliver what we need him to deliver. You don’t spit the dummy after 6 games disregarding 6 previous trophies from 6.

I don't think it would be Levein or Gerrard stopping us, it would be all down to ourselves.

We have the best squad by a country mile but their appetite to show that on a regular basis has disappeared completely.

For all our advantages on and off the park, last season we only finished 9 points ahead of an average Aberdeen team and 12 points ahead of a shambolic tributes team that was getting a ripped new one almost every 2nd week and that we beat 3 times.

Since then the squad has undoubtedly regressed while theirs has improved.

The game a few weeks ago showed on our day we are still miles ahead but until we are hungry enough to show it on a regular basis then I won't be taking anything for granted.

Infact that presumptuous attitude at the club is exactly why we're in this situation:

The board have presumed the squad was good enough to win and made no effort to invest in the squad to extend the gap further.

Rodgers has presumed we'll pick up the points even when playing weakened teams such as Tynecastle away.

And finally the players have presumed they can coast to another title in 2nd gear like they did last season.

It's time to stop being complacent about success and start putting the graft in to earn it.

If we lose the league this year br should walk.

We know we needed investment yes but with the squad we have we should still be walking over teams.

Concerning thing is, it doesn't just look like a "slump" anymore, looks like something more deep.

Walk? He'll be * hounded out the club. Loosing the league is the only thing unacceptable and quite rightly he will be out the * door.

I don't want that. I want him here for the ten. Doesn't get the 8 then he can get to *. No time to be sentimental in football, that'll be another potential £30/40m lost loosing the league.

Players loose the league and I'd want a massive * fire sale and rebuild like we did when Lennon took over. That's what's needed. Get things fresh again. Maybe this transfer window he'll realise wholesale changes are * needed.

A bit of everything discontent between manager and board, players making statements on pitch instead of just showing team unity.

No, looking at it right now, teams that are playing consistent and winning games will win a league. We’re *.
