    He would leave to who?

He walks it looks bad on him before the season starts or after the champions league, can you really see January being any different to the summer? I can’t we all could see what was needed and the board never backed him. They are not gonna do it this January either.

We lost half a team? Really? So 5 or 6 first team players?

Moussa last min, aye I will give you that Armstrong, aye he was a loss but we had the chance to replace him and * it.
Roberts was not our player we had time to replace him and we got a guy who our manager knew nothing about.

We never replaced Armstrong nor did we replace Paddy. And the * up at the end of the window not getting even a forward in loan is criminal.

Rodgers tactics, formation and signings apart from a few have been nothing short of diabolical.

When it’s going great by all means praise him and the team but that does not make him invisible to criticism when it’s going wrong like it is now.

No one can back him up with he won back to back trebles, yeah great achievement never been done, but at the end of the day he had 10x the budget of the rest of the league and no pressure from anyone, the whole league has improved and he has done * all about it. he cant seem to find a system that suits this team, got the best 3 best players in the league in tierney griff and forest and have done * all this season apart from put a performance against der hun.

If rangers keep their form and we lose any 2 of they games in that month before we play rainjers then get beat off that mob we will be in serious danger of losing the league all ifs and buts, going by todays form its a possibility.

Warning signs were there with the amount of goals we were shipping out to big european sides. Would rather concede 7 goals at home for the sake of playing silky football wont park the bus for the sake of his own reputation of style of play, what about the clubs reputation, * * surely thats a record for amount of goals conceded at home for a celtic manager in europe over 2 seasons.

Our slow start to this season is just a continuation of our form in the 2nd half of the season last year. There was no one to punish it last year , that looks to have changed now.
There was nothing near perfect about our treble last year. That was the previous year.

Armstrong wasn't even THAT much of a first team starter when he left for Southampton.

Dembele was a perm-injured tadger too much invested with his relationship to the treatment table and Twitter.

Roberts could hardly get a sniff in the team due to injury and the form of James Forrest.

You think he would have no where to go if he left , without doupt he would ,regardless of our league,to win a double trebble is astonishing ,to get us into cl twice is a task in its self , if he were to walk it would be blamed on the board for the lack of support in the transfer window and failure to support his ambition.
Paddy although not our player was still one of thee most important ,as you can see by the down turn in results when injured last season along wae armstrong .
No one should be imune to critic as this is wot drives change for the better ,but we are just into the season and suffering from the negative summer and boyata dembele saga along with going out cl to a team we all knew we shoulda beaten .
He should be given time to fix the issues ,great when we were smashing teams with all out attacking ,but if you push teams back to defend they soon realise just to sit there ,and we have no space to play in .
Signings have been poor and the worst being eboue ,maybe its hard to argue your case for improvement in recruitment when you have an elephant in the room , the other thing is maybe he has been told we cant match his ambition and wont raise the wage barrier for better players and he is leaving end of season ,with players getting wind of this ,tactics and formations can not be slated when we have won all our domestic trophies for his tenure ,although i dont agree with the all out style it has worked for the moment .

There’s been no doubt that the summer window there was as shambolic as it gets. Rodgers has been shafted big time by the board with their failure to back him and get his main targets especially after we have sold some key players that would certainly make a difference.

In saying that, some of his signings have been absolutely abysmal and only adds to the frustration. Majority of the regulars were here under Deila which shows he’s not really strengthened on what we had. Granted he’s improved some of those players but still.

He has to get rid of some of the deadwood he has brought in.

There's no doubt that a lot of managers now have Brendan's number and know how to play against us.

Look at Levein, Lennon, Clarke. They all know how to beat us, press us and we * it. We have no plan b, we have loads of possession but do * all with it. Dog * tippy tappy pish.

Rodgers has ran out of ideas, he needs to swallow his pride and go direct sometimes. Maybe in January sign a big * 6'3 bruiser that can attack a ball in the box, change it up a bit.

I'm * off with it. He tries to play like Real Madrid but he clearly doesn't have the players to do so.

Also, far too many shitebags and imposters in this team, too many nice guys who are afraid to * roll their sleeves up and take a game by the scruff of the neck. The Celtic jersey is far too big for most of our * players.

I know this sounds like a witch hunt, but I said before the reason why I feel Roberts was kept out of the team in the last year, in addition to the forementioned good form of Forrest, is because he was too direct, offensive, positive, he would risk dribbling or a direct pass instead of passing to the side. More or less the same thing with Musonda. Because if he wanted to accomodate Roberts in the team, which is a must when you have a player of such level in the squad, he could play him in the center, or in the other wing.

But I agree to your main point

Roberts fitted into br sytem perfectly ,although he did have to alter his play slightly to being defensively aware ,his directness was a positive in the team that inspired bravery in others , if he was not a rogers style of player he would not have pushed the boat out to get him back or try to buy him .

We are a shambles right now, something needs to change

But please stop buying in to their hype. If the Huns keep up their current form they will be * 8th in the league. They are * rank and dropping points like mad. They aren't a challenge to us.
We are shooting ourselves in the foot, not that any team such as the Huns are out beating us.

Does it matter how you win though? Are you saying a treble isn't all that impressive if we don't do it unbeaten?

The standard of the league has improved and our squad has been weakened over the summer. We've also had off the field distractions and disappointment of missing out on CL qualification.

It's not surprising that we've struggled tbh, the performances are surprisingly poor though admittedly.

He needs to provide a fresh impetus. I guarantee he manages it, his track record speaks for itself.

His track record is being sacked from 2 of his 4 managerial positions before he came to us.
It’s not the bed of Roses some people make it out to be.
And also his track record is starting off well and declining sharply.
It’s there in the results and stats for all his previous jobs.

His track record relevant to what we need him for right now, winning a domestic Scottish trophy. His record - 6 entered, 6 won. Impeccable.

The lack of context in your post is * ridiculous. And jumping on someone who has delivered what he has for us, during a slump, is futile.

Let’s see where we end up at the end of the Season.
