We're the best side on our day, but what's the point if we only turn up in the big game's against that mob or the Sheep?

If today didn't alarm anyone, I'd be gobsmacked..

Dropping points is 1 thing. Going 1 up, getting pegged back and then Killie going and getting the winner at the death...is serious cause for concern..

We still haven't won an away game yet out of 3..

 

Have to score goals to win leagues. No goals in that system

 

The last time another club got over 76 points in the League was Rangers in 2010/11. So really if we get 77 points we'll almost certainly win the League.

We could get 77 points by winning 20, drawing 7 and losing 5 of the remaining games to show how easy it really is to win the League.

 

This stinks of self entitlement, like we’ve got some * given right to win it, the kind of attitude that put rangers in their grave. We should win it but only if things improve drastically.

 

Teams were beat before they went on the park against the invincibles and that carried into the start of last season.
Now everyone knows if they sit in and soak up the side to side passing theyre getting a point atleast.

 

I think we'll still win simply because none of the other clubs have the players to put together a consistent run of games. It certainly isn't going to be the foregone conclusion it has been in previous seasons though.

agree to disagree there.......we won the treble 4 months ago.......you trying to tell that the gap has closed, whilst i accept that others have strengthened and we've gone backwards........i'm not in full panic mode but i am concerned!!!.....also i would treat that * Thursday night comp as a runaround for fringe players!!!....at the moment, i still think we'll win the league.....if it's in any doubt we'll splash in January....which in no way execuses the summer by the way.....the board are playing with us like they've done for the 40 years i can remenber!!

 

We've took 10 points from 6 games. You're being optimistic if you think we'll get anywhere near 80 points with this current group of players, in this current form.

Not a go at the OP but I'm fed up hearing what we're going to do. Just go out and do it.

Until such times as we're consistently winning games then I don't want to hear about what we're going to do by either the players or the management.

Boasts are empty when you can't back them up and right now that's exactly what we're doing.

In the league we have Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Hibs, Motherwell and Dundee which takes us up until the end of October, will see how we are sitting after they games, been a tough start off the park and on this season, still think we have enough to win it relatively comfortably.

 

I’d just be happy if we actually managed to win 4 games in a row in the league at the moment then think about retaining the title

do we have a team good enough to win the SPL? yes we do, do we have a management team capable of setting up the best tactics and team for the match at hand? I don't think we do.

I would go as far to say that the winners of the league this year will win it with less than a 10 point advantage.
