The Green Brigade annual Food Drive will take place before the home match Vs Hearts on November 3rd.

This will be the 6th consecutive year we have appealed to the rest of the Celtic support to help people of Glasgow and beyond in the run up to Christmas, and each time it has been met by an overwhelming response.

Last year, a massive 19 tonnes of food was distributed across the city, with a further £14,000 making its way up and down Scotland. These donations have, in some cases, literally kept food banks from closure; the difference we all make as a support cannot be underestimated.

Once again, we will look to donate a sum of money to Scottish Action for Refugees, while also supporting ‘The Invisibles’ charity to help the homeless community in Glasgow.

Our Food Drive initiative has been a huge success year on year and is comfortably the biggest of its kind in Scotland – simply down to the sheer generosity and goodwill of the Celtic fans. We are hopeful that this collection will be no different, and we will once again be grateful for any donations made, no matter how big or small.

“A football club will be formed for the maintenance of dinner tables for the children and the unemployed”

Thought the support were sensational tonight..

Kept with the team when we kept missing gilt edge chances and you could hear and tell the defiance because everything and everyone seems to be getting a dig in against us..

Even with 10 minute's to go it was top notch..

    Class..

I noticed that, didn’t get on the players backs and supported. I think that makes a big difference

Yep. Like we knew they needed it tonight under no circumstances and delivered..

Rebs were getting a good airing but a hail hail belting out from both ends with 10/15 to go got me pumped up. Usually dies out but was loud till the end of it..

Definitely made a big difference mate :50:

Everyone is on us so time to pull together again..

Always is with the away support, far to many * at home games. You know the type that wanked themselves silly when Boyata scored against Hamilton.

Bit harsh on the vast majority of the home support tbh as hardly any leave after 30 mins but you are right the away support are excellent. That's why I, like you I assume, go to as many away games as possible and I'm really thankful I can do that :50:

Really, if this forum is any sort of accurate representation of the Celtic support as a whole, then I'm disgusted, disappointed and alienatied from the support of the team I love. We've come to a pass where the clubs official Twitter page is posting pro Gay Pride messages and fans are more interested in obsessing over waving Palestinian flags than honouring the Catholic origins of the club. I wonder what Brother Walfrid would make of it all...........

    Its sad to see.

I guess its not a Celtic specific thing though. Seems like a reflection of society as a whole.

From the website of the club you support...

The best that Celtic stands for is an inclusive organisation being open to all regardless of age, *, race, religion or disability.

Celtic has always been a Club willing to offer a welcome to all.
