Kt would beat him in a straight fight ,if both were to sprint at each other 100 yrd and slide tackle ,robertson would be wiped out every time ,kt is a better singer and chorus organiser.

 

Why would Scotland not play both of them on the wing together ? The only way we'll ever benefit from having two of the best left sided players in as long as I can remember.

play tierney left back at scotland and robertson as left midfielder they then get a partnership going and a understanding and can take turns attacking the opposition

we could have one of the strongest left sides in europe but we don't want to use it ? its * stupid

think tierney is the better over all player infact i dont see it as even close

but if your looking at a dangerous attacking left side only out of the both robertson is better as his crossing is better

Because he plays for Liverpool, if tierney wasn’t such a loyal Tim he could easily play in a top 4 English team

 

Tierney is the better player. Hence why he can be trusted to fill in at CB and Robertson cant. Robertson is far more limited than Tierney, KT can do the marauding runs and has the defensive attributes. Also Tierney should have been made captain. As much as I admire Robertson he is nowhere near as good captain material as KT. KT has learnt from one of the best Scottish and Celtic captains in a long time. Poor decision that imo.

 

Scotland’s defensive options are so frail that Tierney has to be played at left centre back and Robertson playing left back or left wing back.

In all honesty, I don’t have any issue with Scotland setting up that way.

 

If we're looking at them at the same ages, then it's no contest KT is light years ahead.

However, even if we just look at them now, I'd give the edge to KT. He's a far better defender, reads the game much better, and is much more versatile. The only area I'd give Robertson the edge is in his crossing.

 

I think KT is better but until he does it in a better league against better opposition, he'll never get the credit he deserves.

With Robertson now captain,looks like KT international career will be played out of position,don’t like seeing him play rb,Think he has done well at left cb but for me,if he has to play out of position,I think he would be a cracking centre mid,box to box player?

 

If we’re playing any as a left midfielder it would be KT for me. The best thing about Robertson is coming onto the ball from deep and his crossing. KT is far more adaptable.

 

I would have said the opposite tbh. Tierney more adaptable as a defender but I think Robertson is more comfortable on the ball

 

Don’t think he has the attributes to play in the midfield, he needs to attack from deep, he needs to overlap, he attacks space. Kieran is happier squaring a man up, trying to beat them. It would be taking a * of a lot out of both of there games but I’d be much happier with Tierney infront of Robertson. As it is I’d think the best way to get both of them in the team is as we are doing it just now.

It’ll work a lot better against teams we’ll have more of the ball against.

 

I think Tierney needs space to burst past people. I also think Robertson would be more comfortable coming infield than Tierney. Not to mention the fact that Tierney is probably a little more solid defensively

 

I was the same when * use to say move Izzy further up the wing, it just doesn’t suit there style of attacking play for me. Takes a lot more out of Robertson games than it would Tierney, it’s pretty much his role for us at times. Wing to himself, pushed right up, happy to square up defenders and take the game to them.

Robertson likes to build up the momentum first, overlap, make runs from deep. Just wouldn’t suit him further up at all for me.

 

Coming infield I think your right but I like them to keep width up until the final 3rd like Forrest does tbh.

 

I think it gets rather 1 dimensional if you dont have the left midfilder coming inside sometimes
