When it comes to the big games, he never let's Brendan down, thought he gave it everything today.

Absolute beasted someone late on infront of the dugout, don’t often see that side of him getting stuck in tackling.

When he emerged under Deila he was a decent, energetic young scottish player with a good dig on him.

Now he's the Scottish Iniesta :35:

What an upward trend this boy is on...

Would maybe look a bit small in the NFL but I think his footwork would see him through.

A key player for us now, massive credit to him. He's worked his socks off to get to where he is now.

The biggest compliment I can give him, is the fact that we couldn't afford him if he wasn't already ours.

He’s a phenomenal player. Would be so hard to replace. His technical attributes and his ability to retain the ball suit our style so well.

He has developed under BR, much more consistent, no doubt but often he was one of the few shinning lights under Ronny. Scoring goals in Europe etc..

He got a hard time off the fans, mainly because he never hid and always showed for the ball and was played out of position a lot.

But he wasn’t *, you could see there was a player there, it was obvious to those who didn’t jump on the hate bandwagon..

Yeah that's a fair point, maybe * was a bit harsh, inconsistent or established might be better, but I do remember him being all over the place when he played most times, and I think that was down to poor management from Deila. But he was not the only player, we generally were all over the place!

I think you have to put him or Rogic (personally my 1st choice) through the middle.

I'm not a fan of him on wing or even with him cutting in I think him and Rogic end up getting in each others way.

I'd prefer to wide players, full stop.

It was Ronny that set about identifying the root of Forrest's persistent injuries and adapted his training to sort it, don't think he's been out since, he deserves more than a little credit for his development over the last few years, who knows where he'd be at now if he was still in and out of the squad like his earlier seasons.

Really wish things had gone to the original plan and Ronny was brought in as someone's assistant and not the main man, he really does seem to have a knack for a lot of the coaching side of things.
