If it was under different circumstances i would be wishing him every success

As it is I hope he tears both his hamstrings and does his Achilles as well.

Bye Moussa, hope you end up playing for Scunthorpe

Dembele bossed them like no one ever ever seen. There were multiple game stretches they couldn't get the ball off him.

We knew moussa would leave .we should have had a replacement lined up. Only 2 strikers when both are prone to injury niggles is unforgivable.ffs we could have even got Adam Rooney on the bench as a big target man for 4 grand a week over Salford utd as an example and I am sure there were umpteen European strikers on a free.this sits squarely on the board and our recruitment scouting team.so close to 10 iar and we make it harder not easier.say it again tories on our board tell you all you need to know.* the board BACK THE PLAYERS.HH

Maybe some people did think he was over-rated, but I thought he was great (when fit).

He was quick, strong, had a good first touch under pressure and could bring his team-mates into the game as well as any striker we've had in years. He could find the net, and generally produced in the big games.

However, the fact that he was apparently only fit for half the playable games since we signed him - as well as his attitude in the last day or so - makes his departure a little easier to take. £20m is a good fee for him, the problem will be actually getting the board to commit to spending it on strengthening the side so the manager can start moving us forward again.

    best of luck to him.
did nothing wrong in my eyes by forcing the move, celtic should have honoured the gentleman's agreement by letting him move when lyon 1st came in for him like they did with VVD, Wanyama etc. it wasn't moussa's fault that we failed to get the targets that BR wanted, that lays at the door of the board. same as Boyata, everyone and there granny new that he wasn't signing an extended contract and he would be wanting away after the world cup, but once again we were slow to act in bringing in cover.
it's all well and good Peter Lawwell wanting top dollar for our players, but on the other hand he should also be expected to pay top dollar for our targets.
    but, hey-ho, onwards and upwards.

    100% mate.

Been * off at this aw night but now I’m kinda like * it, when he first came, Brendan basically said he’s come to develop and move on, whether he has developed or no is a different matter imo. But he was several levels above when he was flying.

Slated him a few times for being a big sulky, lazy * but I wish him nothing but the best. He’ll be a top tier striker one day if he gets his application right.

Has he actually left but ? :56:

There was a time we could expect goals from half a dozen players in the team. Almost all of them have goals in them. They will all just have to step up.

Just noticed that the record is quoting the fee as £19.7m * can bring themselves to say we got 20mil

Read Brendan’s article, was never a verbal agreement. Brendan stated he is disappointed it came to this low level of tactic to force a move however. Fully punting then blame at Moussa.

Factual, this is he type of player we want to operate with. Potentially a superstar, with an ego too big for Celtic to temper.

We can’t keep them happy with money, nor can we guarantee Champions League
Football. Rogic was touch and go but I fully expect this to be a vicious circle, Roberts, Boyata, Dembele. Who’s next? Odsonne in a year, Arzani in 2 when we hope to sign him longer.

KT, he bleeds green. Even still, Hartson, Sutton, Larsson speak of Celtic as us, Petrov, Lennon & Lambert. We need that mould of player but I think the money is the game is so far apart, it will never happen.

We are CELTIC supporters, faithful through and through. This is something we cant expect our players to be anymore.

Tried that before and doesn’t work, same with Sinclair up top. Christie will be more suited to play up front basically as a false 9, so hopefully if we have to then it will be him and not Forrest.

I agree and think we lose out without forrest on the wing but Brendan doesn't and he got the winner away to rosenberg from that position

Benkovic is only here for what, 9 months and then we are back at square one? In June, he will go back to Leicester.

Boyata will be sold in January.

So we will be two centre backs down. We will also need a new striker to replace Dembele. Griff or Eddie will get injured over the next 4 months to January, that is a guarantee.

I feel by January we will be out of Europe, the board will then think, wait to the summer now and then we go again. But then Rodgers will walk at the end of May too and come June time, the club will be in turmoil. No manager, no defence, no attack.

Broony will be 34 and on the verge of retirement and players like Eddie will want to * off too.

This is all very sad. I can just see this all happening over the next 9 months.

20Million is a lot of cash lets be honest and softens the blow somewhat. Lost yet another fantastic player but he only had 2 years on his deal left and lucky if he would have signed a new one anyway.

Sets the standard for future transfers of some of our other players too.

Think the £20m just replaces the lost CL revenue and is not for the transfer kitty.

Club will announce record turnover, profits and money in the bank and shareholders will receive record dividends.

I doubt even half that £20m will make it back into the kitty.

We actually haven’t spent a penny this window, Mulumbu free and although im sure there’s a small loan fee for Benkovic over the next 9 months he’s only here for a short time. Arzani just a young guy from City, will be on peanuts at the moment.
