    Just let him go.

Not ideal, but if Eddy and Griff stay fit, hopefully we should be fine till Jan. Christie can maybe do a job up there in the SPL at times.

Problem is we definitely lose something as a team without Moussa as the focal point.

Loan back would be ideal, but doesn't make much sense from Lyon's POV.

This - I can’t believe how much PL and BR and Congerton have screwed this transfer window and transfers in general. At least 3.5 million wasted on Kouassi including wages - 900k plus wages plus possible payoff for Compper. Boyota will sign a pre contract in Jan or go for 500k. Dembele doesn’t want to be here and we’ll end up selling him for less to get rid.

Even if we won the EL (and we’ll be lucky to get out of that group) - it’s less than 14million. We could have had 18 million for Moussa and 9 million for Boyota. Instead of that we’ve got Mulumbu on a free and a loan from Leicester.

Frankly I’d have taken the money rather than have 2 players who don’t want to be here. I think BR takes a lot of blame here - it’s all very well acting Mr Big and demanding players aren’t sold with no replacement - Dembele lasted 15 minutes at training so we can see how that’s going to go.

How have we gone from hammering the Huns 5 - 0 and a double treble 12 weeks ago to this? I love the club but the level of incompetence is sometimes simply staggering

Won’t move this window. Will be sold for a lot less at a later date.

Just a sickening window as whole. Boyata leaving for nothing soon too.

Van Dijk and Wanyama doesn’t mean it was a success.

And ‘only get what you pay for’ doesn’t mean anything when Griffiths cost less than Stokes Pukki Bangura Amido or when Beorrigter and Eboue cost £3m.

If Moussa stays then really he is of * all use to us, his head wasn't right for last nights game, and it won't be right for Sunday ffs this is a joke, when will his head be right ? every window we know Moussa will be a target so the fact that we haven't got a replacement lined up is just incredible.

I think you missed my point there. Factually, we scouted they two? If the board priced us out for them, would our scouting team still be *?

I don’t think you’re getting what I’m trying to say here.

Boerrigter I’ll give you was * scouting though, by all accounts he was a top target.

Agree with what you have to say Prof, only thing is I think Lyon have a real * cheek coming in for him 24 hrs before window closes. Even if there were potential replacements (haha) we have virtually no time to operate and would be held to ransom by any selling club.

    No it wouldn’t be *.

The problem under Park wasn’t how much was getting spent though, it was what it was being spent on.

We’ll need to agree to disagree then mate, that’s where we fundmentally disagree. It’s why Lenny left and I won’t even go into the pitiful backing in the Ronny years.

The unfair treatment Rogders give to some players is shocking. Dembele didnt have the disgusting reaction Boyata had, but apparently he "wont play against Rangers". Not even to mention he is a much better player than the forementioned devil. If he could forgive Boyata why he is harming a much bigger prospect?

Brendan has dealt with this kind of issue before.

If you remember back a few seasons Suarez was all set to move to Arsenal, as they had triggered his release clause with a £40,000,001 bid.

Suarez had the right needle, sulked, trained with the youth team for a few weeks. But when he returned to the first team had a sensational season, which nearly resulting in winning the EPL title.

The next summer Suarez got his move to Barcelona, and Liverpool signed Lambert and BalotellI!!!

Be intriguing to see how this plays out

He gave Boyata a week or so to get his head together. He’s dealt with both the same, difference being Dembele hasn’t faked an injury.
