Misses a training session to negotiate with Lyon, expresses a desire to leave but the clubs can’t agree a fee. Is back at training the next day before being hooked.

The tweets were stupid, no doubt about that, but all this talk about him always having been a moody * is just nonsense. The fact he was training today would suggest to me that he hadn’t made himself unavailable for the game on Sunday.

 

I think he was there to train for sure, but no denying he wasn't in the right mood and it was probably making people feel awkward especially his close mates, Eddy, Cham, so Brendan just had a chat and said give today a miss.

 

It's two players demanding a move and acting unprofessional on the eve of big games, Dembele might not have refused to play, but was he ever going to after seeing the Boyata hate/banner?

Two professionals demanding transfers and acting unprofessionally in the hope of getting said transfers. Same vein.

Dembele will be allowed back into Rodgers plans when he comes in and trains like a professional, he should be viewed exactly as Boyata after last nights performance on Twitter airing dirty laundry on the internet and then have the audacity to come into work and train like a bam.

This all comes down to having no contingency for these scenarios. If we had a list of possible replacements then we might have been in a better position than this.

He was at training though, which is pretty key imo. We have no idea why he was sent home from training, but I think the fact he was there proves he hadn’t just downed tools completely.

It’s entirely possible that he was being a * and disrupting the team, but it’s only one of many possibilities.
