    If it’s true that Brendan asked him to leave training to “protect the environment” then I don’t agree with him. He’s turned up to work despite what’s going on and he would turn up on Sunday. People say no player is bigger than the club, well neither is any manager.

    Dembele is close with Eddie and Ntcham, when you have a complaint with something you * to your pals, it’s human nature.

    Not the kind of thing you need before an OF derby so Rodgers was definitely right to remove him.
