Aiden McGeady. Will He Stay Or Will He Go Now?

Well according to press reports this morning, Sunderland boss Roy Keane has a healthy interest in Aiden McGeady. Now with him playing so well this season, Can we hold onto him? Or will he stay around to help us do better in Europe and a crack at 4 in a row?

 

I think it all depends on the board - if they accept an offer he'll go. If not he'll stay. I don't think he has any huge desire to go to England immediately.

 

He wants to stay at celtic. He supports the club through and through and plus he's gettin champs league football so why go down. I would sell him in a few years but this is him only reaching his peak years were heel be even better.

 

Who the * are Sunderland and roy keane? Celtic r far bigger than this dross, we dont need to sell our best players and the board should issue a statement informing clubs that boruc and mcgeady r goin nowhere. PS keane can have killen, tommy g and balde I"ll drive them there myself!!!!!!!!

 

I think he will stay for another season or 2 then go to a top english squad

 

All this Kewell talks makes me think they are looking for a replacement.

in a word ,no,,,hadgood points and bad ,more bad than good ,but i hate abroad anywAY

so made the most of whats available,the place shut at 10,30pm , no * about we were sitting ourselves drinking cheap lager i say cheap because during the celtic winning the championship match we were in a irish pub called "paddys" unusual name there eh,,lol i had 2 lagers and was shouting like a mad drunk,she had 2 ciders and was shouting * the huns ,mon the celts , kill the * ,,and she hates fitba,,

the hotel was out of this world ,the beech was amazing ,best ever the sea was so beautiful its was like a dream ,,but all to quiet for us at night everybody went to bed at 10,pm

Anyway, McGeady will be going nowhere. You get the feeling it's different wae McGeady that wae all the other dim * who left before they should have. Celtic are in this bhoys blood and no amount of dough is goanny prise him away at this stage of his progression, especially not from a club like Sunderland.

 

A hope he dusnae leave anyway but if celtic accept an offer am sure he will move on

Cant see aiden leaving anytime soon at least another few years with us.

 

Not a chance, at least not yet anyway. He's been with Celtic his entire career, no?? He has many friends at the club, and a definite place in the first 11. He has champions league football year in year out, not only that, he's winning titles! And if that wasn't enough, he's winning personal awards too.

Why would he want to leave all that for a club like Sunderland??

He will leave us eventually, no doubt, but Sunderland?? Give me a break! As various people have said, he'll be going to Spain, but that'll be in the future, the distant future hopefully. I reckon he'll spend another 2/3 years here, all the while improving his game and leaving a legacy at Celtic Park as one of the greatest Bhoys of our time!! Hail hail!!!

 

He still has the majority of his career to go.
He is only beginning to have great form week in week out and he knows he can still improve a lot more while being with us.
He will want to go to Spain, but prob in about 5 years near his peak

 

i think in a couple of years he will, hope he stays a while though

 

He'll probably go and have a crack at La Liga at one point but I don't see him leaving any time soon, specially not to Sunderland.
