    Champions league football would not have kept him here. Playing for Celtic he will not get into the France team, he needs to prove he can do it in a stronger league, even if that means going to France and possibly moving to Spain later on.

    DEMBELE UPDATE

    Interesting developments regarding Mousa Dembele at Celtic – remember, he is wanted by Lyon ahead of tonight's deadline in Scotland.

    Our reporter Luke Shanley is at Celtic’s training ground and although Dembele started the session, things have changes.

    Shanley said: “He is no longer training, he walked off the training pitch after around 20 minutes.

    “I have just watched him on the phone in the upper level of the training ground.”

    Selling to France they know they'll be able to sell to England and that's the only reason they want Dembele, not because he's gonna win them the league. He's effectively now turned traitor feeding the anti-Celtic PR stories. Brendan told him he was too good for Celtic, yeah cheers for that. Fuckeen turncoat.     That may not always be the case though. We need to look after our investment and if you think someone's got massive potential, you'd maybe give your word that we'll accept offers after 2 years or if a team from this league offers x amount, for example. These "add-ons" may actually help us stand out to players who may not even consider Scotland as an option normally.


    Look back at Stan which is the one that always springs to mind... Signed a long term deal knowing he was getting sold soon after. He didn't have to sign anything but I'm sure that happens a lot and if Boyata and Dembele are to be believed, I'm guessing it's not far away from what I'm suggesting.
