I was complaining from last season for this exact reason. Unbearably boring and lame.
Rodgers’ first season was all about pressing the teams to *, playing with tempo, attacking flair and creating loads of chances. That’s all dissapeared now.

Disgraceful. You'd think it was a friendly not a league game. No high tempo. No urgency. No fight. No desire. Same as last season, sideways passing and the same old patterns of play. How many points did we drop last year in games like this? Happening all over again, the only difference will be this time we won't get away with it. Hamilton are dire but at least they're trying, making an effort. We're 2nd to every loose ball. As usual. These players need a right kick up the * but BR doesn't strike me as a manager who works that way. We MUST play this 2nd half with the urgency of a team 1 goal down with 5 mins left otherwise the best we'll get is a 0-0 draw and our season will be in the clarts before it's barely even begun.
