Is this guy that bad? Honestly? Our club has now shown that we're desperate so everyone is going to take the mickey with us. We have a biscuit tin mentality allied with the fact we can't match the big money being thrown around the world. The window of opportunity has been massively missed this time round. We just need someone who can do a job for now in the spfl........forget Europe we're doing nothing there and need to rebuild. You have to pick your battles here and ten is at risk.

 

I think McKenna would be a great buy, don't think we will pay 6m. A big solid defender, better than Boyata,Jozo and Hendry I.m.o.

Half the posters on here have prob only seen him play against us.

I'd be delighted if we got this transfer over the line.

He looks like a liability. Show us some of his defensive highlights. The clips McGuire posted showed him at fault for so many goals with his poor reading of the game, poor passing and being as slow as a Rover 100 towing an HGV.

 

Just stick lawell at the back and give him a clean sheet bonus. We'll never concede again.

Shar, will be on £50k a week at Newcastle tho... about £7.8m before bonuses over his three year contract. We still need a realistic wage structure.. so for me it wasn’t as simple as meeting his buy-out clause..

So we have a defensive crisis as reported by the media.Boyata refusing to play, Hendry injured, Jozo maybe injured, only he knows and we want to pay £6M for a CB that's injured and out until October !!!. More media pish reporting without doing any home work. If we bring in a CB he has to have had a good pre-season and ready to go into the first team, and not need fecking developed !!!!
