This Terry thing seems to have been plucked from thin air. I'd take him though. I'd take anything at this stage.

 

Terry will bring experience and calming influence hes also very good in the air and you never lose that mentioned him at start of window, got to get him in IMO and another CB to partner sort it out Celtic .

 

As much as he's a *, he has undeniable leadership qualities that we're crying out for at the back.

 

Required quality

• Ajer - still young and learning the position.

• Jozo - the heart of a mouse.
• Compper - pretty much retired.
• Boyata - downed tools.

 

We need 2 CB’s minimum.

Especially if we want to play 3-5-2.

 

Annoyingly that’s been by far our best formation along with the 3-5-1-1 (diamond) recently, we play a lot quicker and slice through teams with ease.

 

Last season's points total was the worst (for a title winning side) in 10 years.

We got away with last year because our challengers were all pish.

However, Sevco have improve their defence immeasurably and are looking to go the route of Walter Smith - sit tight and grind out results. That's an effective formula in Scottish football, it's ugly but it's effective.

We won't get away with throwing away points here and there this season. But unfortunately that is how it's shaping up. We haven't won more than 4 games in a row since Brendan's first season. That is * shocking.

 

Terry brings an aura he's been there and done it and wont take any *,championship team of season last year playing over 36 games.
too many wage thiefs in our defense.

 

Frederik Sørensen - 26 years old, capped once for Denmark, 194 cm high and 80 kg. Last season wasn't the best for any 1. FC Köln player as the team was relegated, but I think this lad would thrive in our team. Decent speed and certainly a better defender than what we currently have.

Gustav Valsvik - 25 years old, Norwegian international, 195 cm high and 92 kg. Average WhoScored rating of 7.24 in the 2. Bundesliga last season. Braunschweig was relegated to the 3. Liga, so he'll probably not command a criminal transfer fee.

I agree completely mate, I just wouldn't say we're close to throwing it away. We are still clear favourites over 38 games.

Think we need signings just to lift the mood more than anything at this point.

I was actually looking at him the other day. He was one of those Newcastle loan guys. Don't think he ever actually played for the filth. Had a great season last year.
