We really need a lift with a good performance in this one. Assuming Simunovic is out injured and Hendry is not ready maybe go 3-5-2 so Griffiths and Dembele can start together up top and play Lustig Ajer and Tierney as the back 3.

I'm not sure that BR did the right thing after the Thistle game, he was too critical imo. He's compounded that by publicly slating his defenders again, and I don't know what to make of Gordon's comments. Presumably BR has said what he's said in order to get a positive reaction from his players, here's hoping he gets it, and his and Gordon's comments don't have the opposite effect on players who's confidence is already low (you would assume). Regardless, I expect a win, and hope to get a look at the new lad at some point.

After the first few games this season of us conceding easy pishy goals he never publically slated them so obviously done behind closed doors, that didn’t work.

This is him laying down a marker and demanding more publically which hopefully works, we need players that react to that not shy away.

Arzani is not fit manager has just said 2 days ago.

We'll not see him for a long time.

Probably go KT Lustig Ajer Izzy at back.

Rogic must play the next 3 games, our centre of midfield sucks * at the moment, all bang off form. I'd think of dropping Forrest too.

I’d like to see this line up too.
Maybe if Jozo is injured put Lustig in there instead, or move KT inside and stick Izzy on the left.

Broony definitely needs a rest, with two much bigger games coming up later in the week.
I think Kouassi needs another chance to impress, he was thrown in at the deep end against a very hungry and aggressive Hearts and didn’t handle it very well, but neither did any of our players that day, so I’d be happy to give him a the benefit of the doubt.

Would like to see Mikey Johnson and Arzani, if he’s ready, get a good 30 minutes too.

I like(d) Gordon but I think it's time. Get our excellent scouting set up sourcing a new keeper. Should have one by 2025 so.
Rest Brown, as pointed out above, if he can't be rested at home to Hamilton then we're in trouble. Again get our scouts on the case for a holding mid.

    Bain
    Gamboa - Ajer - Lustig - Tierney
    Forrest - Kouassi - Ntcham - Sinclair
    Griff - Dembele

Back to a 442, attack wide and get the ball in the box for a change. Give KT a slap and tell him to stop passing inside. Let's actually go at them. The possession at all costs football needs to go.
