I think the guy has earned the right for us to be patient with him. First sign of trouble and some of us are kicking up *. Christ almighty.

Edit: I'm not saying he's beyond criticism but some people have been waiting for this moment to crucify him.

I am faith in him, but he needs to choose his words more wisely speaking to the media.

It’s annoying as * cause there was proper feel good factor about the club up until the McGinn saga, then it’s just been one thing after another.

Every club goes through * patches no matter how good the team is, it’s all about finding our way out of it. Seems to be a mixture of everyone * up, not just the board or manager or players.

It’s an easy fix still, get rid of Debo and bring in 2/3 solid defenders who can improve us, gives the team a boost and a boot up the * to regain our confidence, Rodgers needs to start tweeking out style as it’s getting too stale and predictable if we can’t break teams down.

No it was his 4th season and I don’t see how anything you’ve said relates to the point I made, Rodgers finishing 2nd was the anomaly in his 4 years at Liverpool, we’ve won a treble twice and went unbeaten in Scotland over a whole season and qualified for the CL 2/3 times there is no pattern between Rodgers at Celtic and Rodgers at Liverpool.

For those who are in love.....
Of course he has, and he will..

It's just the way we've imploded from such a high. That saying the taller they are, the harder they fall springs to mind..

We were unbroken. Morale seemed good. Team of proven winner's. A window to look forward to etc etc..

Then to have the manager and board clearly at loggerheads. Can't get transfers over the line. Knocked out the Champion's League. Pish results domestically and in the Europa qualifying. The Boyata fiasco. No defender's lined up etc etc..

The fact the manager has seemed noticeably spooked by our collapse during his first real blip is also alarming..

He literally just needs to get back to basics for me. Pick a formation and stick to it for now. What's your best 11. Stick to it for now. Keep it all as simple as possible as football is a simple game..

It'll soon turnaround and we can then start over thinking tactics and the way we play again. The team are low on confidence so over complicating thing's is always gonna be a struggle until they believe in exactly what's being told and asked of them..

Mon Brendan. We still believe wee man..

BR : Martin’s team always provide us with a tough game and I’m sure off the back of a European match they’ll be looking to try and bring an energy into the game.

BR: “In order for us to play how we want to play that energy and freshness is so important. You can’t ask the same players to sustain that in every game. It might mean a few changes but whoever comes in will be ready to perform.

BR: “We’re a very tight group and we expect a response. We made a good start but conceded from a basic set-piece position and we need to be better, it’s as simple as that.”

BR: “Our performance level hasn’t been where we want it to be but it’s still early on in the season so we’ll find the solutions for that.”

BR: “We’ll try to really focus on the performance because it’s not just about the winning. To do that consistently and sustain it, I believe it’s about performance.”

BR: “Every manager and coach will tell you, you’re going to have periods where some players are out but ideally, you want players who have that robustness to play every week and carry that bit of luck as well to stay clear of injuries

BR: “If you look at our record breaking season, we defended very well in terms of our intensity and pressing and that then leads to really good goals. It’s everyone’s responsibility to do that

BR: “We had positives from last night. Young Mikey Johnston came in and did very well in his first European start. I thought he was really bright and exciting so that was great for him. We have the opportunity next week to finish the job.”

he's not in control over whether we go and get a player or dont, thats lawells job and hes been failing a lot in that regard

look at the signings we have made in defence they are all bargain basements buys, prospects, temporary measures, thats our board and peter lawell trying to do things with a biscuit tin mentality

the fact that we can be so mean (seems to be contagious) after 2 treble winning seasons and on the back of qualifying for 2 champions leagues in a row and the monetary rewards received for that, well quite frankly its breathtakingly poor form from the custodians

How about playing with energy and freshness in a single game? A feat we haven't managed this season.

    we seem to be adrift

no leadership on the park off the park

i think we are all looking at the board to sort the defence get a decent defender in

yeah i hear you! in the mean time until we get better defenders we need someone to organise and work with the defence we have and make them defend properly

we cant just sit still as a team and wait for a franco baresi to sign and make it all better

we need as a team to get our head back in the game and to start working hard and fighting our way through this bad spell as it aint gonna fix itself, this has started to become about our LACK OF CHARACTER, thats what we aer showing now A LACK OF CHARACTER and it needs to stop NOW

    the end

His major * up has been Boyata, I bet Boyata led him on making him think he might stay and so Rodgers wasn't even thinking about a replacement. Then when Boyata has made it clear he wants out now Rodgers has been in shock with nothing planned.

Rodgers was probably thinking at worst we will do an Armstrong and just get him to sign for one more year so we can use him and sell him next season but Boyata has told us to get to * and get him sold.

Rodgers should have had plans in place for a guy entering his last year but obviously he's made a * of it.

On top of that it seems his one replacement for Armstrong was McGinn who we were complacent with and thought we were taking whenever we wanted. When that fell through again theres no back up plan on anyone else.
