In some ways it makes sense as people would be fine for him to come, as he is better than some others we have but he is not the answer to our long term problems.
I don't think he is a complete dud, I think a problem many Celtic fans seem have is they see any player in the SPL that doesn't wear a Celtic shirt as a dud. However he is not the finished article, and had he not recently signed a new long term contract I think he would have been a good signing for £1m odd pounds.

 

There are a few good players been rumoured to be signinging,coming on loan,it's certain we will get the dud.

If we go for Mckenna and previously targeted McGinn , we could be 8-10m pounds down on those 2 players and they would be squad players again not guaranteed a game.. Loans are not always a bad option if it's a better quality of player we are bringing in.

 

Bring Zander Diamond home instead.

Lots of folk said that Mulgrew was an uninspiring signing when we brought him back, or that he wasn't up to scratch. Similar comments were made about Bain.

Sometimes these guys come in and just step up to the plate. Maybe not as a star if the first team but as a dependle backup or utility player.

Don't know a lot about this guy in all honesty but if we do sign him there's always a chance he could do a turn for us, regardless of how he looks playing for Aberdeen.

 

Mate he's nowhere, nowhere near what Mulgrew was....and I didn't always rate him as highly as other's did..

This boy is utterly garbage. Astonishing that he's seemingly seen as the answer..

Horrifically slow. Turns like a bus. Terrible on the ball..

I'd greet if I ever saw him holding up the hoops jersey. I'm welling up at the thought of it..
