    Douglas Luiz is meant to be class, as well. Shame.

    How did we get Arzani then? English and Scottish work permit approval processes and criteria are completely different.

    Stephen McGowan saying the Bruma rumour has been denied by the club.

    Shock.

    It’s easier to get a work permit in Scotland, especially if capped at any international level.

    Not the case.

    This is RE Arzani's transfer;

    'Not having a prized EU citizenship means he cannot currently access the lucrative market places enjoyed by Mooy, whose previous move from Melbourne to Manchester opened an Aladdin’s cave of riches in England courtesy of his Dutch heritage.

    The Scottish FA’s requirements are less stringent than in England regarding work permits, theoretically paving the way for a switch north of the border.'

    Although I'm completely contradicting my previous post. Douglas Luiz would be a definite yes from me.

    Tell me about it, even if we don't sign anyone it's good to be linked and hear stuff to keep us all excited and hopeful, but its tumbleweed central.

    Hmm so the two rumours were a big * experienced CB from Europe, or a 21 year old midfielder from Man City on loan...

    Aye it's pretty obvious which one was going to end up being untrue.

    More change of me winning the Tour De France than Celtic signing a centrehalf * joke man.

    Douglas Luiz would be a great signing, Pep wanted him as a squad player this season tells you how much he rates him.

    And as has been said above the work permit system is different in Scotland, Efe Ambrose has won the AFCON, holds an Olympic medal and how many caps ? He cant get a permit to play in England.
