The agent said the club didn't offer the contract.... Very naive to believe that pish considering boyata came out said he was injured then Rodgers confirmed he was fit they have sat on a new deal and not bothered hoping celtic would sell Rodgers even said their was a contract on the table

@Dubliner1 the agent claimed Celtic couldn't afford to offer him the contact it somehow can afford to knock back £9m.

Celtic probably wouldn't pay him what he wanted like they did with Hooper and Ledley

Regardless get him to * as soon as possible

 

If his agent and Boyata himself think he is worth so much more then why don't they just buy out the contract ?

No one has mentioned how much wages they woulda offered him ,he didnt get to the talking stage im sure so why so upset ,there was no discussion with him and the * .

 

I firmly believe we will keep this * in the squad, play him because Brendan loves this scumbag, allow him to train, use the club facilities, everything, he will * up in matches as usual, and then he just leaves in the end of season as if nothing happened. Then eventually, when supporters obviously boo and abuse this *, he and the club will come to his defence, issue condemnations against the fans, etc, all because it's beyond the realms of possibility for him and the board to sign a * defender.

 

No chance hes ever back in our squad ,would risk losing the dressing room doing that ,he has hung us out to dry and will be kept away from the club unless he was misinterpreted and signs a new 4 year deal only to be sold straight after .
