Every attack they have seems to be from us stupidly giving the ball away. Need to up the pace, they are trying everything to slow the game down. They are not great but very well drilled in defence, can't see us scoring unless we go 2 upfront to get their CB's mo ing around, it's all too easy for them up against just Griff

 

Rodgers must be utterly fuming, hopefully he can get the fire into the team and we pull of a miracle.

 

Griffiths up top alone is * painful I'm afraid. Tierney needs to stand up and be counted. A big of magic from Rogic or mcgregor our best hope at this point.

Were controlling this game but i guess AEK are happy to sit back we need to up the tempo in our attacks.

 

Simply the transition from mid to attack is too slow and telegraphic, we also need the Moussa ASAP.

 

Guys genuine question if we go out tonite do we have to play a qualifier for Europa?

 

Everything is just too slow and playing into their hands. The few times we have moved the ball at speed we have caused them trouble, especially in the build up to Griff's chance. Ntcham is the player we need more from, he is the one who can cut them open. Sideways passing on the halfway line is what they want, especially when Jozo keeps kicking it to them and Hendry looks like it's a large grenade he has been given.
The midfield has been disappointing overall. Except, of course, for Brown who has been excellent at being Scott Brown, but we need the same fight and tenacity all over the pitch, on and off the ball, as well as getting the Moose on for at least twenty minutes.

 

Absolutely criminal that we are playing lustig simunovic and hendry here, some people at our club need to have a right look at themselves for allowing them to be our best defensive options.

I feel like it'll be us almost scoring all game and then they break and get a second. Really hope I'm wrong and my hearts telling me that we'll beat them on away goals but it's hard to see where it's coming from.

If Gamboa had played these two games instead of Lustig they probably wouldnt have even had a goal, he's cost us by allowing 2 crosses that he could really have stopped but he just allows * to cross all the time.
