What did Rodgers say in his interview afterwards? I turned it off at the whistle so missed it

We've dominated against the Greek champions although i'll accept we were deviod of creativity against a half-decent defensive unit and we lose a scrap there today which is always one of our toughest away games and this place goes into meltdown!!!

Yeah criticise but let's have a sense of realism here.....some of the stuff on here is way way over the top!!

I'm away to paint the fence and shout at Keevins!!

I wouldn’t say they aren’t giving a * but we are definitely not looking as good as BRs first season and that is a given. But without the funds being released or lack of contact to clubs who own the targets then we are between a rock and a hard place and no amount of haranguing the boss or players is gonna change that. I think they will perform better with our support behind them than against them. We have downgraded since Strachan. The wee man had to come in and absolutely insult some great club servants and replace them with cheaper options to progress the team. Lenny built a great side over two seasons, his best players left and so did Lennon. That left our choice for assistant coach Della being pushed forward as manager. No big investment again. Now we are at a crossroads where Brendan has tired of pushing out the club line. “We have money for the right players.”
People will say he spent this and that. The money he is given is just about buying young lads that are projects. Not guys who can play a whole campaign consistently because we can’t afford that. I don’t know the answer as I’m sure most on here don’t. Bottom line is we back our team or we turn against them. Kouassi is case in point. A 20 year old who has not even been eased into the side. He was dropped into an atmosphere and the most difficult place to visit in the SPL. As a young guy he needs to be nurtured and given a run, build his confidence. Last 20 or 25. No, you look at the amount of people who just look at him and say *, get him off, useless. Now that’s not gonna benefit a kid we invested 3 million in. Also even without signatures I personally think today was the first poor performance so far. 2 league games in and we are calling foul on the squad. I * despair sometimes.

No problems with starting 11 as that should be more then enough to beat those horrible *. Also 3 games in 7 days always meant things were gonna be shook up. It's the lack of fight and passion. Players need to play for the moment, that game, not thinking about the next one or the week after.

Set pieces and first touch today was awful. So wasteful. CB is an area we need to sort big time. Glaring weak there.

PL, take note. You back the man and his beliefs, which have been almost perfect for 2 years. If you don't, your undermining him, his players and ethos, all while standing on the cusp of 10 iar. You then become the problem. Time to freshen up for the challenges ahead.

    Enjoy ur wknd troops. HH

Wonderfull responce Brendan, they are trying everything to * us up and undermine us, but Brendan remained cool and calm, a legend. Everyone needs to calm down, we will get stronger, we will be the team laughing again come the end of season, let the Huns and corrupt media have their fun, we WILL rise to the challenge!......* bless you Brendan, now Peter....get your finger out and back our brilliant manager!

If it goes our way lawwell does what he always does, makes out that we don't need to invest and we do nothing. Win win for the board I'm afraid

Absolutely it could. Always the pessimist me I suppose but with the mood in camp atm and the way we played today. I hope we give them a show in Athens and do it obviously, it could totally change the outlook of hoe I'm feeling right now.

Calming down a bit now, we have not been playing that bad, this air of negativity is just hanging over us because of BR comments this week, and I think its fueling everyone's view of the club. Today was a shambles still, but * is going on?

Really wishing this next game wasn’t away for home. Anyway!

Rodgers post match comments about looking inside as a footballer, not always getting it your own way, this is why your a footballer, rising to the challenge etc.

This needs to be driven home before AEK.

Players aside. If we do go through, the board will simply carry on regardless. I doubt they’ll heed this as a warning. Rodgers however, does he really need an ‘I * told you so’ exit from the CL to ram the * obvious point home to the board.

Trust the * manager, he’s not a mug and has more than proven himself!

When that lanky streak of * got booked early bells players should have been charging at him with the ball. Instead they all looked scared to go near him.

    Team is full of shitebags.

Gutless, spineless and clueless. We knew that Levein would send out his hammer throwers to kick lumps out of our players. The 2 clowns at the back could not stand up to it. Beaton is a *. I hope Naismith snaps his leg in two the dirty scum rodent.

Many factors at play there today, the line up was always a suspect looking one, we never got into any sort of rhythm and it was one of those games I was finding hard to concentrate on until the Naismith incident, I’d say that was a red card but not going to blame the loss on that decision like some fans will conveniently do...that’s burying your head in the sand

Poor substitutions just sort of capped how the match was going and I never fancied us to equalise if I’m honest.

Judging by some knee * comments I sometimes wonder if some fans welcome a poor result so they can smugly return and bore us with their negativity or how we are going nowhere until we get into the EPL.

We’ve made this mistake before in early games of resting players for Euro games, I seem to remember going up to Inverness under Ronnie and losing there after a heap of changes, I’m not complacent but hope today is a bit of a kick up the * we need to refocus and hopefully emphasises we need more recruitment, particularly at the back
