Not bringing in CBs looks just stupid after Boyata not playing and a performance like this, and even more so if we fail to advance on Tuesday.

That aside our display today wasn't good enough we had about 15mins at the start of the second half where we looked as if we could do something in the game most of the time it was bad decision making when we had the ball

 

Thats not a good enough excuse. We brought in £6millions worth of "talent" to rest players.

Today had nothing whatsoever to do with the board. A completely winnable game lost by illogical team selection and tactics.

If indeed the XI was picked to make a statement then that is complete petulance. Rodgers made the comment during the week regarding lack of backing and the vast majority of the support agree with it. The ultimatum has been made now it's over to the board to deliver on it. If they don't he's within his rights to walk away. But selecting weakened teams doesn't strengthen his point, it just * us off.

There really is a sour feeling among the club at the moment; and it needs fixed immediately. The lack of urgency and fight in the last 20 minutes there was embarrassing.

Over to the board to start strengthening this team and over to Rodgers to get the non-contributors to either shape up or ship out.
