And how do you think big businesses back tories? Because tories keep the rich rich and the poor poor tories even * small businesses by putting the vat rate up to 20 per cent effectively keeping small business small so large businesses can carry on hogging the wealth in the world..... Big businesses back tories because their ethics are totally different towards people same way big businesses have no ethics paying people minimum wage while they rake in the profits for doing * all

....at this point on this topic the furthest thing from my mind are the * Tories but that's the "wonderful" world of the internet for you I suppose

To be honest I'm not that bothered we won't be seeing Mcginn but I totally accept that not getting him was a psychological blow considering all the facts around that potential deal.

I'm happy to be shot down as after all its just about opinions but I've been to all the home games so far and overall I'd say we look better than last season so I certainly don't think there is a crisis here as some would like to have us believe, I thought we were ok on Wed despite the outcome.

The media have been waiting for this since he first walked through the doors as from that minute it's been all one way traffic for them to report and it's probably from a national journalistic perspective hard to not just repeat the same old stuff and cliches about the dominance of Celtic so any signs of cracks will be pounced on like a dog with a bone... particularly when Sevco have clearly moved forward at last but ultimately they won't get near Celtic domestically despite that improvement.

9 million was alot for Celtic to shell out on one player and part of me thinks that was practically the business taken care of from a financial perspective and the board were never going to cough up much more for further recruitment, domestically that is fine but in the CL it may well leave us short in an ever demanding qualifying format...I doubt it's just Brendan that's frustrated with that when's it's clear at that level the defence needed strengthening to give us the best chance to qualify for the groups.

£9m for a player is a lot for us but it won't have been upfront and it's taken us 18 years and a changing transfer market to finally break that record.

Not to mention back to back CL qualifications, double treble, massive sales of players in recent times, record season ticket numbers etc etc.

Its hardly incredible when you weigh it all up that we finally spent that much on paper. Nor should it be used by the board as a "that'll shut them up for a bit" move.

We need more investment. The squad has gone backwards and the best manager we can possible hope to have is giving out warning signals in regards to his long term future.

If we * this there is no coming back for me tbh. Fail to speculate to accumulate and build from a position of strength...the real 'Celtic Way'.

Its alright but we've got a lovely hotel on the horizon...which none of us will likely be able to stay in without taking out a mortgage. Apart from Uncle Ho.

This whole situation is infuriating. Purely because the answers to it all are staring us in the face and the men with the bank notes can't see it.

One fact that’s undisputable is the funds have been flowing in but as has been so correctly mentioned much if not all of that MUST be reinvested to have an opportunity of going forward in Europe, for 2 years under Ronnie we coasted without investment and got away with it domestically but failed to reach the CL groups, with a harder CL Format to combat we are not going to get away with standing still and not addressing key issues like strengthening our defence, Wed night proved that, we played pretty well and should have won well but that area of the team was the part that once more let us down....not addressing this is one fact indeed certainly staring us all in the face

Rodgers needs to stop being a shitebag and call out Referees letting Hearts away with plying like this - * should have about 6 or 7 bookings already. Lafferty's done two shockers, Naismith could have been booked 2 or 3 times, that guy going in late and headering Hendry, the boy that stamped on Tierney well after he played the ball.

You canny use aggressive late fouling as a tactic.

After what? Not buying a defender for 3 years? Or not buying a footballer in January.

Our club is far more important than 1 person, if he goes, he goes, couldn't entirely give a * we should be able to bring Jimmy Calderwood as manager to win the league.

The * board need to realise that this man delivered a double treble. Something nobody could have imagined when he signed up. He went his first season invincible ffs

Give the man the money he wants. Jesus Christ what else does he need to do to prove his worth?

Tyncastle is one of the hardest places to go and he fielded Hayes and Kouassi ffs.
Subbing Griffiths who is our only real threat at corners or free kicks was stupid, Edouard is not a lone striker, his best games this season where when he played with Dembele, we need two up front.

He was right to say what he did during the week but he has to take blame for a lot of that today, crap team crap tactics, that’s twice now Levein’s beaten him.

Needs to take a large share of the blame for that abject performance.

@Vertie said earlier that his defensive signings have been:

    De Vries
    Gamboa Hendry Compper

Bar the Toure stop gap, not one has been a success.
