Glad to hear this. Paddy back is one of the deals i'd hoped we'd do and it would make up for missing out on other targets. Would give us serious firepower, pace and trickery.

After tonight's game, ralston n gamboa should just quit the club if they can't get a game over lustig. Lustig is woeful! Can't go past the halfway line without getting a nose bleed, he only passes the ball back the way, he can't defend and i've seen milk turn quicker than him. There goal was a free cross into the box. RB and an experienced CB we desperately need. We have far too much dead wood at the club as well. Picking decent wages up and nothing in return. Bitton, commper, christie, allan, gamboa

I don't know why we haven't went back into the Dutch market. Seems a fairly priced market considering Justin Kluivert left ajax for 17m for example. What would his price have been if he was English?? VVD came fom Dutch market and we never knew nothing about him before he came here. We should take the money on boyata now before he leaves for nothing next summer and blow his whole fee on jeremiah st juste from feyenoord. Class CB in the same mould as VVD. * Jason denayer. Morteza Pouraliganji is the best Iranian defender. That NT was notoriously tough to play against in the WC, and he lead their defense well. He has not gone to Europe, and should be on our radar.

 

Trent sainsbury, bring him in.

 

The attributes we’d need from a defender to thrive in this system are so rare that we’re unlikely to sign one. Reckon we’ll always be suspect in that regard as long as Rodgers is the manager. Swings and roundabouts.
