Agree we need to bring in more players.

But what we saw tonight was an opportunity missed because we played rubbish.
We had no plan B and struggled to break down a team who were nothing special.

We should have won that game tonight and the squad we have at the moment should be good enough to win games such as the one tonight.

As i said i agree we need a few new players but sometimes the players we have and the manager have to take the blame and i think tonight was one of them nights.

Tough result to take but the tie is far from over. We open the scoring over there and it changes everything

if you look at things objectively, AEK were favourites going in to the tie. Champions of a far better league than ours

There keeper was * as well. Too many times we worked the ball and never got the shot off. So it might come back to haunt us, until then we should keep the heads up and not give the team a hard time after we pretty much ran them ragged for most the game. Broony could have a few shots, but for such an unbelievably great player, the one thing he's feart of is shooting from the edge of the box. You also need better movement in their and the subs upset the momentum of the game. We've a manager wants to go signing players we can't sign, and players we can sign aren't signed early enough.
Dembele will hopefully be back, but i fancy Edouard in the games away to go and open them up. It will obviously be a cagey affair, a real nervy night, but they'll have to get the ball off us which they struggled to do.
What didn't go our way were crosses into the box, they are quite open to setting off counters right from a headed clearance and we still made a little mistake here and there. We should however have had a much stronger bench, otherwise Brendan got the tactics spot on. Just a wee moment in the first half when we sat too deep and they got a lucky goal.

Let down by the right side of our defence and the centre backs.

    Who knew?

dont understand not playing gamboa tbh, just baffling

almost the same as simunovic, i think either they lack the ability to learn and do something the manager tells them to or its a personality thing

i thought gamboa has been very good since coming back from the world cup yeah i know he is not brilliant but he has energy and pace and likes to get forward whats not to like about that ? better than lustig ffs

without investing in a manager that has qualified two years in a row . ,won double trebles and seen the loss of players like armstrong and roberts without investment. The blame will lie with the board.

i am all for live and let live but the fact any * tory is near our club and some of our fans are so poor we need foodbanks and the tory scum are cutting our sick and disabled benefits says all you need to know about our * board. if brother walfrid was alive he would go through that * boardroom like jesus in the temple were the tax collecters were * the people for money and we dont deserve to have a tory anywhere within smelling distance of paradise.HH. and watch the board tomorrow scramble with transfer * rumours that everyone and there mum wants to play for Celtic. Tories at Celtic would never have happened with jock * bless that man. football without the fans is nothing. celtic without our present board would be an improvement. we deserve * better for all our support and money and travelling from 4 in the * morning from all over the world to get to a game then straight after the game travel into the wee small hours to get home again. as someone quoted football the game of the poor stolen by the rich . never was a quote more true.HH.

We really don't ever learn. From the board to the players, we never learn the lessons of previous campaigns where we've been beaten, eliminated or played off the park. So so frustrating.

    Think we * it tonight.
Their goal was far too easy then we didn't do enough when they went down to 10. Still hopeful but will be a big ask.
