KT was brilliant but agree with Skippy, he was fkd because the 2nd half his crosses went to pot, didn't beat the 1st man once, don't think he had anything left.

But against 10 men and not working the goalie was criminal.

Yes.. we can score over there .. not sure if we can get 2 but we will need them as AEK will definitely score against our woeful defending

think we are out personally because we will probably have to go over there and score 2 or 3 given the way we defend at times. and it'll be tougher over there.

 

* result last half an hour was some of the most one dimensional play I’ve seen in Europe, crosses were abysmal and we just resorted to tippy tippy pish at the edge of their box the goal was embarrassing.

 

No * danger we’re going through now, and before you say ‘moody’ or ‘bedwetter’ etc, just think of our away form in Europe.

We need to kill ties off ffs. We coulda been outta sight before half time, and now look like going out.

When we’re away from home, as soon as another team smells blood, they pounce and we crumble away to *. We need to get that killer instinct.

 

One of the most frustrating games I've watched; lack of shots particularly. Dominated possession but did nothing with it unfortunately.

Some comments on here are brutal though. I'm still hopeful we can get a decent result over there.

 

What I notice our players often do when a team sits back is they all push up the pitch but dont rotate and look for the ball which leads to side to side passing... Ntcham picks it up countless times and nobody is dropping short or running into space bar jamesy and kt out wide, griff edouard, callum, brown all standing still just facing him. Rodgers should pick up on this, we need more urgency

Hendry is brutal. Simunovic isn't great but he should've played tonight. We've been lucky to qualify the last two years without proper investment and now it's gonna bite us. Will the board take any notice, will they *.

 

Not what I was expecting (thought we’d win 1-0 or 2-0), but as previously stated, AEK defended very well, and they did what they needed to do. McGregor’s goal was very nice, but little creativity after. Regardless, for the second leg, we need to go in with a bunker mentality, tune everything out, and get that crucial away goal in Greece...it can be done.
