    Far better interview than his last one on transfers.
    Pleased to see him finally come out and tell lawwell to get his * finger out.

    Just came in here to say this very thing.

    Lennon clearly wasn't happy with the transfer dealings, but for me he was always under the thumb of the heirarchy so simply upped sticks and * off.

    I hope to * the board LISTEN to the warning Rodgers has so clearly given them...

    He has earned the right to strengthen the team however he sees fit , Everyone knows we dont need 10 players weve a settled squad with plenty of quality but you still need to add 3 or 4 to improve for freshness each season , competiton and loss of a couple of players such as Armstrong and Roberts.

    Sad indictment that's it came to a public address from Rodgers to be backed ffs!

    I think he basically played the game that the board have been playing for many a season last season by saying he was happy with the dealings, knowing fine well he wasn't.

    But it really has gone far enough - he has delivered multiple successes across ALL boards since his arrival, time for these * upstairs to maintain their promise they gave him before he arrived with the backing he needs to compete to a level that WE deserve.

    100% it shouldn't have needed to be said at all like this but it absolutely did in the end..

    Agree with that second part also. We know he isn't a yes man but he was certainly covering some arses and talking * about being happy with the makeshift defence and needing quality over quantity that was regularly trotted out..

    The needy in me wanted to hear that statement above tonight after the mish mash from no knowing Arzani is coming in to just his general mood in interviews and downbeat vibe..

    Feel more confident we'll get what we need and Brendan wants now..

    Seems that next level to our board is a scary place to go ,the quality we need will cost above our wage structure unless its development players ,but we are crying out for a little more experience in .

    Technically we haven't spent a * penny this season (Ok £9m on Edouard still went oot the door, but that came from outside sources i.e. add ons from VVD and Armstrong transfers), but not a single * penny!

    I'm absolutely * raging, so * only knows how Brendan must feel.

    Obviously they'll have been plenty of dialogue that isn't satisfying Brendan and so he's felt the need to address it in public...which tells you how Lawwell and co were on the matter..

    In hindsight, this really could be the best thing to have happened in terms of our evolution - board thinking we can just plod on because of our success, manager telling them no * way you * to evolve yous need to back me.

    The thing is...Rodgers shouldn't even have to come out with statements like that.

    The board have a World known manager at the helm,doing wonder work....yet they are starting to take him for granted now.

    Whatever he needs within reason when he is here ,you deliver.

    Celtic will stop Celtic.....not Sevco here,so im glad this has been opened up now.

    Get it * sorted,get the players in and lets pull away from the SPFL and make a mark in Europe.
