I don’t think it’s them tbh, I think it’s been our own arrogance that has created this situation, as it did in the past.

Interestingly, it’s also why Lenny left apperantly, if we do the same with Brendan I’ll be * fuming.

Well it turns out he's more clued up on the media manipulation than you are, which probably means you're all the better for not knowing. Right now, what we're probably seeing is Sevco PR at work, but don't worry. If all the reports figures are true then we’ve no been arrogant or ‘low balled’ them. It’s more than a fair offer. Couple that with McGinn’s feelings for Celtic, then he should be here in no time. So what’s going on ? He goes to villa it’s purely for the wonga.

JOHN McGINN is mulling over a £2.75million move to Aston Villa after being given a personal tour of the club by Steve Bruce.

As exclusively revealed by SunSport, Villa made their move for the 23-year-old and got the green light to whisk him down to their Midlands training base.

He was given the five-star tour of the facilities and held talks with boss Bruce.

It now looks like Celtic will have to equal Villa’s offer if they are to land their long-standing target after three failed bids.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has seen three bids — the highest of them £2m — fail to meet Hibs’ valuation.

SunSport understands Villa haven’t given up hope of the midfielder making his debut in their first home game of the season against Wigan on Saturday.

But their interest means that McGinn is now unlikely to be involved in Hibs’ Europa League tie against Norwegians Molde at Easter Road.
