We also havent "low balled" anyone. John mcGinn is a player whose had ONE good season in the top flight and spent the rst of his senior career either fighting relegation or trying to get promotion. He's no european experience and his contract is up in 5 months. more importantly is already an area we have considerable depth and strength in. Like * we low balled them.

The only people who have talked him up are Broony, ONCE, and a certain section of our fans who cant take the green specs off and see a supporting celtic as some sort of marker for ability.

If he does go to Villa then he joins a long list of "EPL tims" who will have an average career down south in exchange for a few extra shekkles, spend the twilight years of his career fishing for a move to us and spend his retirement lamenting the fact that they made he wrong choice.

Gary Hooper was a glory chaser and his burd didn't like Glasgow, but what has he done since he left celtic? If villa want to pay the same amount for McGinn with less than a year left on his contract as we did for ntcham then that is up to them. Rodgers knows what he is going and if we don't get mcginn then I'm sure he will have a better player lined up

I don't know about being fine, mate. I do think We still need a couple of quality additions to keep out the staleness.

However john mcginn falls more into the "quantity" category and no great loss.

He will probably spend the next few years skirting about the championship. if and when villa get promoted they will look for something more glamorous and he will move on to another championship club.

 

We are waiting for the English window to close I said it at the start of July it narrows the market and players prices will reduce or not be over inflated
