I suppose we don't need a backup LB now. I really liked Jonny's delivery today.

BR on contribution of @jonnyhayes15 to the opening goal: “It was a great cross. It’s one of his strengths as he’s a wonderful crosser of the ball with both feet and it was nice to see Tom get on the end of it with the header."

Very underrated footballer by our crowd.

Delighted for him putting in a good performance today.

Said that to the boys on the bus on the way back from March. How much more comfortable did her look in his natural position today! If he can keep that up rotate between Tierney and him at LWB and we are sorted!

He’s comfortable on either side if we have space to play, he really suited on the right at Aberdeen. With us he’s constantly turning into trouble onto his left on the right because there’s no space.

On the left he has the option to fling the ball in which he is really good at.

Happy to see him do well today, thought he played the role like he'd been doing it for years. Not a patch on Tierney, obviously, but someone who can come into the team for games like this and play in a number of positions - and won't let you down.

I think he is worth keeping around.

Won't be on a fortune, knows the league, seems a popular member of the squad and is known well by Rodgers.

No harm. Plus he can actually deliver a ball something few of our players have.

Had a good game today , for some reason reminded me of Agathe although he was playing on the left although it’s safe to say Hayes has got a much better delivery than Agathe :57:

He's got a very good delivery but apart from that I thought he was average today. Maybe I'm spoiled by Tierney being the full package or fairly close to it but I think his level is SPL level and nothing more, a solid backup to give Tierney a rest.

Dunno why we didn’t let him hit a corner

Think he’s a good back up for KT in a 352 set up. Works hard, aggressive, quick and has a good cross on him.

Delighted for Jonny today. Showed what he’s capable of at times. He’s not stood much of a chance at Celtic given his signing and the injury he incurred when he was starting to find his feet.

He might not be a world beater but he’s an honest, hardworking, steady player. He’ll be a very useful player throughout the season.

He did well today but I'd be pretty wary of considering him as KT's back up. It was livingston we were playing not sure how he'd do against better opposition.

You should never expect back up to be as good as who they cover. He gives us a good option to rest players before or after European games. His versatility means he can do it for a number of players. You have a lot of teams Hayes can hold his own against.

Played his best game for us yesterday and i think the main reason for that was BR actually played him on the left, his true position, instead of the right. Even though he played right-side plenty of times for the sheep i don't think it suits him or allows him to play to his strength which is using his pace to get down the line and whip crosses in.

More similar to Steve Guppy, in my eyes. Very useful player. Manager knows him well and trusts him, which will help rub off on him and give him that extra 10% that others are lacking.

I think he did well and deserves to be ahead of Sinclair at the moment. Trying to force him as a right winger was a bad mistake and shouldnt be tried again
