Why is he going on about not being involved in transfers all of a sudden? Shifting the blame? Putting pressure on Peter?

    Doesn’t seem like he’s happy

He's done that in almost every window..

This right player wasn't available. We won't panic buy-for the sake of it. We couldn't get it done. Price wasn't right etc etc..

Hope he's putting some pressure on. And I hope the players identified are not John McGinn.

We need 2-3 quality additions. As usual, we'll be lucky to get one..

If Brendan has the bollocks he should come out after the game tonight and call it out. Why have we NOT strengthened for these qualifiers? We might go on and win this game tonite but that squad on the park is no way good enough for our club.

Ever since the first day Rodgers came to Celtic ive been saying he needs to sort out the central defence. I found it very hard to beleive that he thought our central defence was acceptable at the start of last season, it was proved in Europe that it was very weak. Its * incredible that we are now a year on from then and he still hasnt done anything to improve our central defence. Rodgers has done a great job domestically but sorry his halo has slipped badly over the shambles that is our central defence.

    Ditto.

It's like Peter Powers has got a hold of him and if someone says defender to him he falls asleep and forgets everything.

Brendan Rodgers.... * ye playing at mate.

Those tactics we started with, and also the ones we finished that half with, were absolutely atrocious. Now we know he likes the defence to be able to make up a 3 to balance out the attack? So he’s got Tierney doing the ‘Lustig role’, Gamboa pushing up the pitch right? So he thinks Forrest and Gamboa will get in each others road, so he takes Forrest out of his best position, moves him in the middle, takes McGregor out of his favourite position and moves him wide.

So he’s obviously got Gamboa pushing up the pitch to create space for Hendry to pusg out and into midfield, the onus being on Jack Hendry to start attacks. Which obviously bit us on the * *. Personal mistakes were in there, Hendry * up, Tierney wasn’t strong enough in the tackle and Gamboa completely lost his man but it’s Brendan’s tactics that allowed these situations to arise.

He’s taken too many players right out of there comfort zone. Trying to be too clever. Jack Hendry’s an inexperienced defender, so just let him concentrate on defending, Forrest is confident as * off of the right? Allow him the freedom out there, McGregor loves finding space in the middle so * let him do it.

He switched it about midway in the half but he’s not addressed the balance in defence, Tierney is one of our major attacking threats. Let him off the leash, if you can’t trust Gamboa defensively, get Ralston on.

It’s more about tactics than personnel for me tonight so far. This game is saveavle obviously, it’s one each but I’m honestly digusted by what I see out there just now and that’s down to Brendan, it’s * amatuer tactics. Trying to be too clever. It’s downright Ronny Deila.

I'm just reading your post mate and agreeing wholeheartedly..

What was he thinking * about with 3 of our best attacking options and thinking we'll try something different on a European qualifying first leg..

    Unbelievable..

Was actually really negative as well..

Aye it’s negative but not actually defensive... It’s overthinking for me. Football is a simple game, overthinking it complicates things sometimes.

I’ve seen some great managers do some stupid stupid things overthinking the game, mind Pep’s ‘inside fullback’ :56:

    Hope he’s got a * grip here.

Much, much better Brendan. Second half he came out and let us play our natural game. The difference in Forrest, McGregor and Tierney was incredible.

Ntcham that second half knew where everybody was without hesitation as did Scott Brown, first half we just didn’t have that. Hendry was allowed to focus on defending and he thrived because of it, how he never scored I don’t know, both the bar and the defenders blocked he done pretty much everything right.

Second half was a breath of fresh air. 1st half is only the second time im Brendan’s career I’ve been baffled at why he’s set up as he has. 1st time was the diamond against Beer Sheva (sure it was them) with Saidy Janko if anyones interested.
