I actually think we need a left sided centre half instead of a right. Ajer, Boyata and Jozo have all been really uncomfortable on the left of a 3 or when dragged out there..

Boyata, Hendry and Lustig are all comfortable-ish enough there..

We still need a right back. 1 big fast * that can play right back/wing back as well as slotting in at centre half would be ideal..

I know it’s a lot of cash but see West Ham are selling Reece Oxford for £10m..... had a lot of potential. I’m sure he can play CB as well as DM.

 

Can we please make a move for Eder Militao Porto look to be getting him on a pre contract for just 2m signing on/agent fees and 10k per week wages which is ridiculously low for someone of his talent. If we're gonna stick with 3 at the back he'd be perfect for RWB or the right sided CB. Only downside would be waiting until Jan to get him as Sao Paulo are demanding something like 10m to sell early.

And to keep him company Rodrigo Caio (also at Sao Paulo) could go for as little as 3-5m as he's slipped down the pecking order. Was highly rated and if Rodger's could work his magic on him he'd be a bargain.

For left sided CB/back up LB Walter Kannemann has also been linked with a move to Italy for 5m, unlike the Sao Paulo guys I don't have a * clue how good he is other than he's supposedly one of best CB in the league. Also noticed Kim Young-Gwon (CB that scored the 1st vs Germany) has been moved to reserves of his Chinese team cause of foreigner limits but another who can play LB and has tons of international experience and a good age (28).

Can you tell I want * defenders in?

Oh and since Rodger's loves his PL players, Tosin Kehinde still hasn't signed a new deal at Utd and wants first team football, potential for a Dembele type deal there since English clubs would need to pay compo. Looks like he'd be a pretty handy Armstrong replacement.

 

Kim Young-Gwon is great. He would not cost us much, because he's been shoved into the reserves.
