With Panathinaikos and Olympiakos so far down. Clearly side's in that league are struggling but they are the best of the rest so we'll see..

I'm confident we get through this 1 unscathed with no injuries and suspensions, we have enough going forward to put away anyone we could face in these qualifiers..

Zagreb and Copenhagen certainly toughter than Be'er Sheva. Not much difference at all between Qarabağ, Astana
Rijeka, Hapoel Be'er Sheva or Slavia Praha, though most were pleased at the time we avoided Rijeka.

 

I wouldn’t say we are by far the favourites, mate. I’d say it’s probably 50/50, they are very good team and much tougher than we have faced at this stage previously.

 

They loaned a Brazilian from Braga called Alef. He’s a deep lying playmaker I think. They also signed an Argentinian from Roma called Ezequiel Ponce. I know him from his time at Granada. Decent player.

 

Astana were in the Champions League the year before we had them back to back drawing with Atletico Madrid, Benfica and Galatasaray at home I'm sure..

Be'er Sheva after we pumped them went and beat Inter away and put Southampton out the Europa group at St Mary's..

Qarabag we also beat fairly comfortably under Ronny. They drew home and away to Roma in the group's this year..

The rest haven't really done a thing in Europe of late off my head..

Ludogorets against Brendan's Liverpool and Copenhagen Champions League a year earlier or 2 ago but did nothing..

 

The season we knocked out Beer sheva they made it through their EL group, which contained Inter Milan and Southampton. They were a very good side.
