    Does Rosenborg getting knocked out do anything to the seedings tonight? Apart from giving us an easier game (on paper)..

    As they're the seeded team and Valur aren't. Will somebody else be pushed in to the seeded route like last night with Apoel the next round and a knock on effect for the round after our next?

    don't think so as Rosenborg are seeded to go out next round if that makes sense. Whether we get them or not and win 2nd round it's then immaterial!! I think?:56:


    ps- APOEL were a biggy as they were expected to get to round 4

    Aye it's slightly confusing as I know we're seeded if they get through....so wasn't sure if someone else get's shuffled about as Rosenborg are a pretty big side to go out in the first round..

    Just have to wait and see what happens :50:

    actually just read you question and i know exactly what you mean as it was asked last year too! Both Valur/Rosenborg are seeded to go out round 2........however when a biggy goes as some draws are made in advance some teams can get lucky (e.g. us) if a minnow wins!! It's confusing i know as the seedings are only affected when the next round draw hasn't been made in advance.

    And the draw for round 3 is before round 2 even starts so again no effect other than a potential easier game.

    That pen to Valur must be the worst referee decision I've seen in my life. Ball hits the RBK midfielder in the head, ref taught it was hands. Shocking.
