LESS than three weeks ago Kristoffer Ajer capped off the season of his life as he helped Celtic secure the Double Treble. His promising development has continued into the post-season break, too, with Ajer impressing while on international duty.

The 20-year-old could make his fourth appearance for Norway tonight (Wednesday) in a friendly match against Panama in Oslo. It comes four days after he played every minute of Norway’s 3-2 friendly win against a World Cup-bound Iceland team.

Ajer made his debut for the Norwegian senior side in March this year when, at just 19-years-old, he came up against his Hoops team-mate Tom Rogic in a friendly against Australia.

The fact that Ajer has played in all off Norway’s fixtures since then is unsurprising, given his impressive performances for Celtic this season.

Brendan Rodgers has spoken highly of the talented central defender who became a regular in the first-team in the second half of the season and played a huge part in helping Celtic secure the Double Treble, with 34 appearances in the Hoops.

During the season, Ajer sat down with the Celtic View to take part in the Green Room Q&A where he gave fans an insight into his life off the pitch.

    First record you bought/downloaded?
I remember buying some kind of ‘90s hits for kids, but it would probably be an album by the Norwegian band, A-ha, when I was much younger.

    Last record you bought/downloaded?
The last song I download on Spotify was River by Ed Sheerin and Eminem, which was Christmas No.1.

    First gig you went to?
That would be my cousin who is a big singer in Norway, so I went to his concert when I was four or five-years-old. His name is Vidar Vang and he is famous in Norway.

    Last gig you went to?
The last concert I went to was Justin Bieber when he was in Oslo a few years ago. It’s been a few years since I went to a proper concert. I like his acoustic stuff but that night it was the full thing.

A TV show you can’t get enough of?
It would have to be Game of Thrones, which is on HBO. It’s really good. I have seen it all. I started watching it last year and I everything within three or four months.

A TV show you couldn’t care about if you never saw it again?
I could stop watching Prison Break after the first season as the second, third and fourth ones weren’t that good. It’s always the same thing.

    First game you went to?
My first game was Lillestrom - the team I supported growing up in Norway - in their home stadium. I can’t remember the result but I went with my father. We were season-ticket holders so we went to all the games and I really wanted to play for them growing up.

    First strip you owned?
My first strip was a Liverpool strip. I was probably two-and-a-half years old walking about with a Liverpool top as my father was a Liverpool supporter – but he is now a Celtic fan!

    Your first medal
My first medal was when I won the U13 Championship in Norway with Lillestrom.

    Funniest moment on the pitch?
That’s tough...Maybe when Mika put the beachball on his head against Rangers last season when we beat them 5-1 at Celtic Park!

A stadium you haven’t played at but would love to play there?
Anfield, just because of the atmosphere. They also sing You’ll Never Walk Alone, not as good as Celtic Park, but it would be interesting to play there.

He reminds me of Roy Aitken so much when he does that. In fact, there are more than just that similarity between them.

I agree with this, I think he is far superior to Boyata and Jozo and am glad he is on a long term contract with us. I think he looks strong in defence but have seen him make these strong runs down the middle that just look superb.

The good thing is he's only going to get better once he fully learns the position.

Love his big power runs from centre half, splits teams open.

If he can gauge the weight of his through balls a bit better he’ll be a major weapon going forward this season.
