    I think this will be a tighter match than a lot of people expect, but I think Croatia have that extra bit of quality and the best central midfielder in the world could make all the difference.

    Thought before the start that a New name will be on this World Cup. Russia should by form have had no chance, but they have always has decent enough players just played a system beyond their capabilities. Their current Manager is one who accepts reality and looks at how they can win and gets the team to buy into his plans.     Fan factor that extra motivation needed by any team is going to be massive here and why I still see Russia getting to the final regardless of who they come up against. More convinced after watching the manager's cool reaction to beating Spain. That lunatic atmosphere and tactical set up intimidates and frustrates anyone that they will come up against, their manager clearly knows it and knows that this system works and now has a team who has bought into it. Boring dull sometimes, but proven effective. Greece showed 'another way can win cups' a few years back for the first time in the Euros.

    They are wiped after the quarters mate but any of those 8 lads get booked on Saturday they would miss the semi, should Croatia get there.
