    Ajer had also played CB and upfront and was a young boy trying to find his proper position. He played almost everywhere for his former club as a 17 year old,we just thought CB suited his attributes best.

    This guys an experienced international player who’s position has been nailed in and who’s attributes are perfectly suited to CB.

    We need a natural, experienced CB.

    Van Dijk wasn't an experienced CB when he arrived but it soon became apparent what we had ,Neither was Wanyama or Dembele' experienced they just need to be quality scouted and they can make a mark on the champions league,

    I know this thread is pure fantasy but it's a bit mad to suggest a centre mid, who has probably never played centre back, is highly rated as a centre mid, is being chased by top clubs for his qualities as a centre mid and will cost over the odds, as a potential centre back signing for us.

    It's a youthful team Brendan will mostly always go with 26 or under , bar the odd one such as Sinclair and in terms of potential signings to develop and grow, And they must have plenty of energy and ability,
    whereas with MON he just went for solid experienced Pro's mostly on big wages.
