If he goes for 25 million plus it should not leave a bitter taste in anyone's mouth. He did not need to sign a 6 year deal. That deal was done to ensure we got the biggest fee possible for him when he did leave. Our board will not be trying to persuade him to stay it we get a huge fee. Rodgers has pretty much confirmed that. He will be forced out.

"If" he goes to Everton ill be disapointed in the bhoy as its a side even a step down an its been for money , agree think the board woukd be very keen but if KT says no to the move he stays

Ìm not even worried about Everton tbh. If you where talking 40 million and man united then I would think it was possible. Think the board should come out and say he's not going anywhere but th fly * will probably string it out and it will be the old keeping tierney was better than any big signing.. we certainly don't need the money so if he was forced out for that reason then we should do isis style beheadings on the celtic way ,starting with lawell.

He is still developing and Everton is sensible move if he does go.

As this plays out I'm feeling rather indifferent. My main concern is where the 25mill income goes.

Maybe it's my age or more probably just my natural cynicism but I've never paid much heed to any player of any club professing undying love and praise towards his employers or the fans.

Everton might not be as big as us, but they can easily afford the numbers bring quoted. Maybe he thinks 2 years there at 85k a week will be nice and then I'll get a move to a top 4 prem team, like VVD.
If this is happening then I'd want Lawwell to screw them financially for as much as possible and I'd absolutely want all of it behind Brendan pushing Celtic to the group stages. The club is what matters most, Kieran is just one player, I think he's better off 2 more years here personally but good luck to him whatever he decides.

He'd be playing at a higher level every week and earning more money in the process at a respectable club with the potential of moving onto a bigger club similar to what VVD has done.

Could be the media trying to destabilize things as Armstrong went and we all know there is only 1 club in this country who are unstable and all the upheaval happening with them again.

Nothing to see here, transfer rumour mill that’s all it is. Tierney was playing in Austria yesterday afternoon and folk had him “signing” at Everton in the evening.

The nature of the beast with young talent is they are going to get linked with big moves in every transfer window. I can’t see Tierney leaving before 10 in a row - at that stage he’d still only be 24 ffs.

MSN have a bulletin saying he has agreed personal terms with Everton on a 5 year deal 85k start rising to140k over the 5 years, surely that is total pish, the club would need to agree fee first before they let him speak to anyone,

Although his agent could be sniping in the background if true I hope we get 30 mil and McCarthy as a fee.

If he leaves, I'd much rather him join an Everton and play week in, week out, and develop into the player that his potential merits. I'd sooner that than him sign for a club like Spurs, who'd hear that Arsenal are after him and then try and one up them by signing him first, only to then not play him. Practically what they did with Wanyama anyway.

If and it’s a big if, we were to sell Tierney, there is no chance whatsoever that he’ll be going before the first few qualifiers as well. Already gonna be without Mika and Boyata

Fro what I have heard he is gone, he changed his agents before he signed the new deal, they have being touting him, celtic know this. Personal terms have been agreed and anything north of 30 million and celtic will make the deal.

I think you'll find that we need to agree a fee first before any discussion about personal terms can take place.

Agents go behind clubs backs all the time. Salary etc could well be agreed

Everton are a big enough club to afford a fee and his wage demands, that’s for sure..

That’s actually not true. Jusy need permission from the clubs to talk to the player while the fees being negotiated.

On the other hand, you can donwhat the other mob done in Liverpool with Van Dijk.

I don’t believe he would be forced out. He has 5 years remaining on his contract and his value isn’t going to decline in the next 2/3 years, unless of course his performance does. If he does go, it’s down to him wanting the move.

I would be looking at keeping him obviously. Preferably until the 10 is achieved (preferably forever actually), but at least one more season and another shot at Europe. A couple of standout games in the CL can add £10m to the fees being quoted quite easily.

Spurs would be the perfect fit tho, good manager to develop under, good side and he’s better than Rose or Davies..
