    He's went nowhere yet.

Will be interesting to see what happens here with KT but I'd leave Celtic for no *. Depends on whether you grew up wanting to be a Celtic player or a footballer I suppose.

I won't doubt his support of the club one bit if he goes but if he does I'd say his love only goes so far.

If he * off to Everton=for the doe, then he's just another badge kisser in my eye's..

Let's be honest, die hard Tim's have been * off to England for decade's. We've practically been a feeder club to a smaller club in Southampton for a few year now..

KT will just be 1 who played up to it a bit more. Signing a 6 year deal and changing his agency will just have been gearing this up whilst giving off the impression he was riding on the wave of 10 with us and leaving a bona-fide legend and club captain before he was even 25. Now, IF he is off, it'll leave a bitter taste in the mouth.....rather than leaving with everyone's best wishes in a couple of year..

I'd be as devastated as everyone else if KT ends up at Everton this summer, but let's just hold the book the now.

Who's our main source on this? With the exception of every paper last weekend - who were basically reporting on BR's comments regarding any potential transfer of Tierney - we're only going on a transfer podcast by the Daily Record and a couple of ITK folk on message boards like ours.

No disrespect but usually you get a bit more tabloids reporting on this kind of thing. If Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail starts saying KT to Everton is a done deal, then that's when we should get worried because as much of a scumbag paper as that rag is, the Daily Mail is usually reliable when it comes to its football stories.

And if personal terms have indeed been agreed with Everton, then I'm guessing Everton wouldn't have been happy that their future asset was risked in a 90 minute friendly over in Austria today. Especially since considering how strong the line-up was, I'm willing to bet that will be the team against Alashkert next week. Which brings me to another thing: It'd be * stupid to sell one of our most important players during a crucial period of our season.

I'd like to think the board learned from the Wanyama and Hooper debacle where we sold them halfway through the CL qualifiers under Lenny and ended up having to scramble together a miracle against Karagandy to get to the group stages. We had the right idea when we didn't sell VVD until after Malmo and I'd like to think that IF KT goes it'll be once we've figured out our European fate.

The only reason we're freaking out right now is because Rodgers went into great detail compared to Simunovic and Boyata, but he said the same thing about Moussa in January and despite "a fee being agreed with Brighton" we still have Moussa.

My guess is Rodgers went to that much of a discussion about it is because he recognises that KT is a massive fan's favourite much like Moussa and that any transfer would need to be seeped in over time rather than just sprung on us in a shock.

If it turns out that the board is selling KT against his will (I think ultimately it will be down to Tierney regardless) then that could potentially ruin any goodwill they've had since appointing BR and the backlash would be immense. This isn't Stuart Armstrong we're selling here, this is Kieran ****ing Tierney. Born and bred, dyed in the wool Celtic fan. Genuinely could be the icon for this upcoming generation like McNeill, Henrik, Broony and co. If he goes against his will, there'll be pitchforks and torches outside Parkhead.

Whatever happens, I'd big up our academy and puff our chest out that we can produce another. This is exactly what Ajax do. The youth academy is so good and consistent once one player goes another can replace him. We have a great youth academy and KT will not be the end of us producing excellent players. Its almost a complement to our development team other clubs want to spend money on our homegrown talent.

LIfe goes on after KT. No player is bigger than Celtic FC. If his head has been turned by the money, so be it. I'll be devastated but I'll still remain proud and passionate about Celtic as will every other fan. Players come and go but fans remain constant.

I do think he is off and to be fair who would refuse a 400% pay rise,if reports are to beleived.
I will be sick if/when he goes but even sicker if it's for £25 million,he is will be worth double that.

I think it's 25 million and Everton that's worrying. If it was 40 million to united it would feel okay. Personally I don't think it's KT being tempted by money, but the chance to win things. He'll have seen Robertson play in the champions league final, knowing he's a better player than him. I could quite easily see him going off, spending 6-7 years at the top, winning everything and then coming back here when hes 30.

Mate I'm also a * Evertonian (its a long story) and I find it bizarre he would not wait around for a few years with us, then clear up the trophies as well as the the cash into the bank with Man Utd/Spurs/City etc.

We’d be daft to sell him for £25million. He’s worth so much more to us than that.

If he wants to leave then let him, the team will still progress without him, but not for £25million. We would be mugs to sell him for that.

Kinda thought this was all hun media wishful thinking , but don't look like it :( . Great getting Eddie signed but losing KT as well as Paddy and Armstrong would be a huge kick in the nuts.

If it was a top 4 club in England i could understand the potential move and lure but not to Everton a middling EPL club who will win nothing.

Even if they do come in with 25m they would need to add at least another 10m or so on top of that along with a sell on clause, Lawwell is not daft when it comes to selling quality players however hard it might be on us, Tierney is on a 6 year contract.

Don’t think he’ll leave this summer. If he progresses again this season which I have no doubt. A bid next summer will be too big to reject & I would imagine he’ll be told to leave. Hopefully it’s to a regular CL team rather than bang average Everton.

The thing for me is I am like most of you Celtic are a massive part of my life, it’s like with your kids when you see something threaten them you get on the offensive and that’s what happens with me i get too emotional and it comes out all * wrong the frustration boils over. Like Kieran I have been brought up a massive Celtic fan, my great uncle did the same with all my uncles and cousins he brought us up the Celtic way (not the current walkway)

He always told me “you with love and leave and people will come and go and love and leave you but one constant in your life will be Celtic and through the good, the bad and the indifferent they will always be there” * even when my oldest was born a few hours later i * off to Aberdeen to watch us play, he suffered a cardiac arrest when he run scored against boavista and died!

I couldn’t imagine being a Celtic player it would be something you dream of and Kieran has worked so hard for, you wouldn’t in your young life think what has happened to him would happen, but I wouldn’t let anyone not an agent, not a manager, lawwell and the board or even my family force me out Celtic if that where ever to be the case not when you have a bonafide 5 years left at £18k a week yes you could make more down south in the soulless premiership but if you have been moulded to be a Celtic player and have the support behind you and Broony is clearly moulding you into a Celtic captain and you could be here for one of the most historical title runs in our history, why would you leave? Even for the cash!

He should stay for 10 then give it a blast for a Milan, Barca, Dortmund or or top 4 in England, definetly interest in him from bigger clubs.

You telling me some of you mugs actually believe this pish?

    Let's break this down

Our best player, who is a massive fan of the club...who just signed a long term contract saying himself, "if that doesn't tell you long term, i don't know what will", who is the future captain apparently agreed personal terms with Everton....EVERTON last night , even though he's in Austria and was playing a game.

We will just ignore the fact that man u and athletico have recently shown interest....it's the mighty european powerhouse Everton that will * his services.

I can even break down how this rumour got started for the lazy journalism it is.
Scotland have two genuine world class players in their two left backs and it just so happens to be that one of the left backs plays for Evertons rivals , Liverpool.
