Really hope this is a pile of *, such a feelgood factor about the club for the past couple of seasons but this would wash that away in an instant.

 

Got to admit, I'm getting a really bad feeling about this.

 

usually with players when you agree terms with a player before opening talks with the club , thats called tapping up and comes with transfer bans.This is clearly bullshit for 1) hes about to start a game for celtic...in Austria and 2) he said himself he is staying.

 

I could understand if the fee was something like 40m+ but 25m is *.

If they accept that offer they can get to *.

 

There is something sinister going on with this one am telling ye, we have no reason to be looking to cash in unless Kieran has said look am done which I think there is not even a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance he would say to Brendan, it stinks to me!

Why hasn't Kieran just came out and when am no leaving - Moussa done it on twitter in Jan 2017!

 

If we sell KT, a substantial amount of the fee has to be reinvested into the squad. No excuses..

 

As I have said for years I don't trust this celtic board...

 

but we know it wont be we have made UCL last 2 seasons and we have squirrled away £30m plus (actually closer to £40m) in the reserve accounts, if KT is sold it will go into the same pot and make up for not making the UCL groups.

 

Love how Tierney has supposedly went and agreed personal terms behind our back but at the same time the club are forcing him out...

 

I think he is being forced out myself tbh - don't think he would do anything behind our backs but all open to opinion and interpretation.

 

Brendan has * caused all of this BTW with his comments - I love the guy but he opened his * mouth at the wrong time!

 

Maybe Tierney wanted to leave. He could refuse if he wanted and just say next year

 

Snap. I was talking to a mate this morning and we both said, with social media, if KT had no interest in this he could have killed it stone dead at anytime these last few days.

yip like Moussa did in 2017 even a RT of his 6 year deal where he said "if that doesn't show commitment I don't know what will"

 

Don’t know if people are just trying to convince themselves with this ‘he’s being forced out’ patter. He’s an elite talent and is going to the very top. There’s no chance he’s spending his career here. He’s already won two trebles, one of them being invincible and any individual award he’s been up for.

Said it before but the day he changed his agents to the biggest agency down there he was off. Anyone believing he was going to spend his whole career here was deluded.

Still think he’ll join Spurs or United though.

 

If a deal had been completed, then KT wouldn't be currently warming up for a pre-season friendly.

I'm sure that in his heart, KT wants to stay forever, and captain the side to numerous honours. However, realistically money talks, both for the club and the player, and if Celtic receive a large transfer fee, and KT can quadruple his wages, then I'll wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his service over the last few years.

 

It would make no sense kt wanting to leave.
